Story
We adopted Dixie when she was around 1-2 years old from the New Hanover shelter. She is a very sweet loyal dog. She was found on the streets so she has been very skittish since day one. Over the years, she has broken out of her shell and became more social and relaxed. Loves playing with other dogs at the dog park and loves going for walks. She is also very chill and can just lay around all day. She is not a fan of kids so we are asking people without children to consider taking Dixie.

Story
Cowboy is approximately 12 years old and in great health. He loves chasing squirrels, toasting in the sun, play tug of war, and the usual games. He's very friendly with other dogs, and has been a great pet. We originally adopted him for my wife's grandmother 10 years. When she passed a couple years ago we took him in with the intention of finding him a new forever home. We previously had two dogs, and 3 dogs has become too much. We recently moved across the country and no longer have the space for 3 dogs. Cowboy would love to be in a home as a single dog or with others, and doesn't require anything other than love and affection.

Story
Ali is a sweet 2 year old dog. He loves people and to be snuggled. We have had him since he was a puppy. My daughter adopted him from a shelter. He currently lives with one other dog in our family. Ali has had some resource guarding in regards to food and toys. He has gotten in a couple of fights with our other dog and we feel he would do best in a single pet home. He is neutered, house broken, and he has had some professional training. He is a sweet loving dog that is looking for a great environment to thrive in!
