Story
My name is Milo and I am a 6 year old Shepherd mix. I am a chubby fella who is a happy go lucky goof once I am comfortable. I seem to do well dogs and cats but should live with teenagers or older. I would love a home with someone who knew the German Shepherd breed. I can be protective as shepherds typically are. I would do great if I had a fenced in yard. I would love to be with people who would let me lay at their feet while they watch tv. I love my people and would make a great companion. I am playful with other dogs and have a little fun spunk to me. Please call Jill at (910) 620-3783 to meet me or come see me at Petco on Saturdays from 11:30-3:30. November 5, 2024, 11:24 pm

Story
Hey there, I am Juniper! I am a 2 year old Weimaraner mix with striking green-gold eyes that people like to call Junie. My friends say I am a sweet, cuddly, big girl! They say I am very laid back, but are hopeful I will be more adventurous once I am back at a healthy weight. I am great with people of all ages including kids. Although I am a young pup I do not jump on people and am very calm, so I get along with everyone I meet! I get along great with other dogs around my size and LOVE to play, but am more dominant so would prefer a more submissive dog sibling in my home. Because I have the typical Weimaraner prey drive I am not good with cats and should not be in a home with smaller dogs. I am crate trained and do great in a crate. I am working on going in on command and learning quickly because I am food motivated! My friends would describe me as a “peaceful” leash walker because although I do not have perfect leash manners yet I do not pull or drag you. Please come meet me at Petco in Wilmington on Saturdays from 11:00-3:00 or call Jill at (910) 620-3783 or Sherry at 910-523-1254. January 9, 2025, 4:20 pm

Story
DREAM DOG ALERT! My name is Candie and I am a very well-behaved, house trained, affectionate dog who's goofy personality will always put a smile on your face. I am always ready to match your mood whether you're looking for a quiet day or an adventure. I do have some allergies but with the right food and medicine I always thrive. I absolutely love visits to dog parks and I am wonderful with making new friends whenever I am given the opportunity! I love bones of any kind, squeaking toys (though they always meet their end quite fast), and enrichment activities! I am very smart and know many tricks including sit, stay, shake, stand, lay down and I am working very hard to master roll over. These are the words I know: Leave it, Up, Back, Wait, and Heel. I am so cute when it comes time for meals. I run into the room and sit with perfect posture, and until the food is put in my feeder. I thrive when people are present and able to give me lots of cuddles and attention! I am about 2 years of age or so and weigh just about 45 pounds. I do well with dogs, kids but have not been checked around cats yet. Please call Jill at 910-620-3783. January 5, 2025, 8:58 pm
