MEET LOUIE! He is a hound mix who was left behind when someone in a rural community moved out and left him to fend for himself. He found his way to Adopt An Angel thru a volunteer. He is such a sweet, happy and smart fellow! At about only 5 months old, he already keeps a neat kennel and uses the bathroom as soon as he is outside. He LOVES other dogs and would so enjoy a playmate. He gets along with everything and everyone, including cats and loves to play ball! Louie is also very quiet and only kind of whimpers when he gets excited. He is a perfect family dog and has the cutest little cowlick on his head! But, I am afraid of loud noises and new things. I need a very special person and a very special home. Are you special? Do you think you can help me? I need to live in a home with another confident dog who will teach me the ropes and will let me follow them around. I LOVE dogs and I am oblivious to cats. I need a QUIET home since I am still learning that the pop of the toaster, the vacuum cleaner, and the sound of a chip bag won't hurt me. I need a fenced in yard and a family with patience and who has experience with fearful dogs. I would not do well with children since I am so easily frightened. When I am scared, I want to run for cover and hide or run to my safe spot. I thrive on consistency and routines and I would love it if my person was home a lot.
