Story
Hi, my name is Boston and I'm looking for a new home! I’m an Eskipoo and almost 8 yrs old! I’ve only had one owner since birth and it was a family of eight people. I LOVE PEOPLE! I want to socialize with them, cuddle with them, and go for car rides with them! I’ve been told I bark too much at people that come to the door, but I’m just trying to say hello and I think we should be friends! I’m fully vaccinated, spayed, and groomed. My actual owner got married and moved to Florida, and now there’s a new family member that is allergic to me when I lick him. 😢 Can I come live in your home and be your friend? I would most especially love to live in a home with an elderly couple or elderly single person.

Story
This is Maple. She turns 1 at the end of January. We have had her since early May and we have tried and tried but she just is not fitting into our family dynamic. She would be better suited in a family with a very large yard where she can run all the time. She has been kennel trained her entire time with us and no longer has accidents inside (unless she gets very nervous) She is very timid with those she doesn’t know but warms up quickly and wants to be a snuggled lap dog. She’s very food motivated. She knows sit and shake (hands) commands. She’s currently eating Authority Salmon and Rice dry kibble. She comes with the rest of her food and bowl with slow feeder. She’s good with our toddler, cat and dog. She’s up to date on her shots but is not yet spayed as we were waiting until she’d turned one (I’ve heard it both ways that dogs are better after they’re 1 to spay or it doesn’t matter after 6 month) She’s already in heat currently. She should be perfectly fine to be spayed now.

Story
Stevie can be reactive in certain situations. Her triggers include receiving treats around other dogs when off-leash and, occasionally, her food bowl, though this behavior is inconsistent. She feels comfortable around familiar people and, when on-leash and given commands, does not engage with other dogs or strangers. However, she may show reactivity toward some dogs and people when off-leash. In her home environment, Stevie can be unpredictable around children and dogs she has been exposed to for a few days. While she may initially play well with kids, sudden movements or the presence of food can provoke an aggressive reaction. Despite these behaviors, Stevie is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being close to her person. She adapts well to varying energy levels and is generally not a frequent barker. Occasionally, she may bark in the backyard, but this is easily controlled with the command “No Bark, Treat.” I frequently travel and rely on trusted dog sitters or her training facilit

Hey there, pals! The name's Calhoun, and let me tell ya, I'm the life of the party! 🎉 I may be a two- to three-year-old, 70-pound Shepherd, but don't let my size fool ya – I'm a big bundle of joy just waiting to find my forever home! 🐾 I've been hanging out in my foster home for a few months now, and let me tell ya, I've got the seal of approval from my foster dad! He's always raving about how sweet and loving I am, and let's not forget my impressive people skills – I can get along with any pup I meet! 🐶 I've got this knack for diffusing any tense situations with my goofy antics – whether it's rolling around, jumping over things, or wiggling my way into someone's space, I'm all about spreading those good vibes and showing everyone that life's meant to be enjoyed! 😄 Check out my personality in action: https://youtu.be/Nl18hewfB5U Sure, I may look a bit awkward sometimes with my long legs and silly behavior, but trust me, I'm as athletic as they come! I love zooming around and jumping for joy – it's like I've got springs in my paws! 🐾 And let me tell ya, my foster dad gets a kick out of watching me run – my joy is just contagious! 🏃‍♂️ I went and visited my friends home with 6 dogs and 2 teens and they said I did fantastic even with 13 pound dogs! I received an A+ But hey, I'm not just a goofball – I've got some serious house manners too! I'm crate-trained, walk like a champ on leash, and I'm all about those car rides. Plus, I adore kiddos – they're like my favorite playmates! 👶 I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can be a part of the family and go on all sorts of adventures together. Once we bond, I'll be your trusty sidekick – whether we're exploring the great outdoors or just cuddling up on the couch. And hey, I've got great recall, so you can bet I'll stick close by your side! 🌟 So, if you think I might be the perfect fit for your crew, don't hesitate to reach out to my adoption coordinator. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Story
**Fostered in Tacoma, WA, and ready for meet & greets!** 🐾 Meet Kawasaki! 🐾 Meet Kawasaki, a handsome boy who will fill your life with joy and excitement! Making his way to you, this cute Lab mix pup is on track to be a large companion, potentially reaching over 80 lbs as he grows into his paws—though, as with all things in rescue, that's just an educated guess! Kawasaki is doing wonderfully in his current foster home, where he's made friends with a pack of three dogs. He's crate-trained and house trained. He's even started to communicate when he needs to go outside by sitting at the door and whining, showing just how smart he is by also mastering bell training. Playful, sweet, and endlessly curious, Kawasaki is sure to bring you lots of joy. His treat motivation makes continued training a breeze. He's currently living with two teenage boys and fits right in, acting like just one of the guys. Plus, he's excellent in the car, making him the ideal companion for errand runs and road trips. Since Kawasaki is still a young pup, he needs a family ready to commit to his training and socialization. Adoptive families should be ready to help him perfect his leash skills, making him a fantastic partner for neighborhood walks and scenic hikes. Get ready for a life filled with affection, as Kawasaki will repay your love and dedication with lots of kisses and loyal companionship. Kawasaki might be your perfect match if you're looking for a big hunk of love to add to your family! 🐶❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/656e15bedf9fe6a8b503a29f Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Hope Honeyheart is the sweetest girl! She’s quiet, mellow and calm, making for a perfect little work from home companion, or a member of a quiet, calm household. She’s incredibly loving with her favorite people and so friendly with strangers, a lovebug through and through. We think that Hope may be a Labrador, Pit Bull mix, but she is a rescue, so her exact age and breed are unknown and cannot be guaranteed. Hope is currently estimated to be around one year old, and she currently weighs in at a soft and snuggly 40 pounds. Watch Hope here: https://youtu.be/tY8yvvf-ZAw?si=QvVb4CKLO27W9Hwz Hope is a sweet girl, but she can be a little bit shy in new environments for a moment or two. A few pets and a soft voice win her over quickly. Hope adores new friends, and greets every stranger with a tail wag. With her favorite humans, Hope is a total Velcro dog. She trots after her favorite staff members, eager to accompany them to wherever they may be headed. She loves to be next to her humans, or even in their laps if they’ll allow it! Hope is an expressive girl, using her tail, eyebrows and ears to communicate clearly with us human folk. While she’s communicative, she’s not talkative! Hope is remarkably quiet, and we have yet to hear her bark here at the rescue. Hope is extremely easy-going, and her quiet demeanor will make her a wonderful companion dog for a quiet lifestyle. Hope is gentle and good on leash, still polishing her leash skills, but with a little more practice she will be an excellent walking companion. She auto-sits for treats, and takes treats so gently. She’s very food motivated, meaning that further training will be enjoyable for both of you. Hope is very dog friendly, and is currently fostered with multiple doggy-siblings. Hope plays so well with others. We believe Hope will do best in a household with other dogs, and our behavior team recommends a polite doggy brother. Here at the rescue, Hope was cat tested, and we believe her to be cat tolerant. She could live with dog savvy kitties. See her cat test for yourself in her video. Hope’s perfect home would have at least one loving human to adore her, and a doggy friend to help her feel more comfortable. Hope would prefer a home with a back yard, or a home with minimal traffic around it, as she prefers calmer environments. We think Hope would do well as a family dog, with older kids that can be respectful of her boundaries. Hope is a sweet girl, but we do think it may take her some time to settle in and bond with her new family, because she is such a sensitive and soft girl. We hope that her forever family will give her the time and space she needs to properly decompress upon her arrival. Save the “welcome home” party for a later date, instead welcome Hope home with softness and sweetness, and she will love you endlessly for it. Hope is such a good girl, and she has waited far too long for her forever family. Don’t make Hope wait another day, apply today. With any questions, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Hope with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.
