Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We got her from a girl (B) who had had her for 2 weeks. B had gotten her from the shelter in Sandy, UT. We called Sandy and talked to the director, Ian Williams, about how she had gotten there. As far as he could tell, a family that claimed they had found her, who he believed was just trying to avoid fees they would have otherwise have incurred, she had been bred and turned in there. We have not yet spade her. We think she is very protective of our small Miniature Pinscher and black Pomeranian because she was separated prematurely from her litter. We have had her for 2 years. She is four years old now. We love her a lot, but as we have both gained employment since adopting her, and with the amount of energy she needs to dissipate daily, we are at a loss as to how else to accommodate her.

Story
We got Summer from a farm as a puppy. She was the runt of their litter there and frequently had to struggle to get food from the trough that all the dogs there ate from. She is one of our four dogs and would occasionally have aggression issues with one of our other dogs over the years but does well with all of them most of the time. However, she is very aggressive towards any other pets outside of our home. She has also occasionally growled at very small children, usually under a year. We didn't want to rehome her if we didn't have to however we are having a baby soon and are worried about the issues she has had with small children in the past and would like to find a home for her where this won't be an issue for her in the future and where she can be happy as a single pet. Outside of those issues, Summer is a very sweet dog who wants to do nothing more other than sleep near you somewhere and chew on toys. She is a very smart dog and has had some professional training before.

American Pit Bull Terrier

Male, Adult
Orem, UT
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We recently adopted this sweet boy CreamPuff, but unfortunately due to unknown severe allergies we have to rehome him. He is a very sweet, loving boy and would fit best in a home that can offer him all of the love and cuddles he deserves. He is very well trained and intelligent (and loves treats, specifically pig ears). If not using a harness he does have a tendency to pull, but after a few short training sessions and lots of love he got better. He still prefers a harness on walks to be the best boy. He is very low energy and prefers a cozy environment. We do not have other pets in the home, so we are unsure how he is with other dogs, but has not been reactive on walks. He is not neutered, but we can help reimburse the costs if you’d need. Due to our health we cannot keep him, and any assistance in helping him find a good home is much appreciated. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Story
Annabelle is the sweetest and calmest dog you will meet. She is such a good girl. She loves cuddles and back scratches. We love Annabelle so much but feel that our life with young children, while going to school is too much to give her the extra attention she deserves. She is AMAZING with children, will not bite no matter the circumstance. We wish we could keep her, things are just to hard as of right now.

Friendly, loyal companion. Perfect for a family with teens or a young adult with time. Likes playing fetch and being outside. Does okay with other dog, but better alone. Loves playing and being petted. Is kennel trained. Not to great for young children because he’s big and not to aware of little ones. Does okay in cars. Would be someones best friend if given a chance
