Story
The fee is just for the large cage, if you want it. We rescued Sophia (Sophie) and she has been absolutely amazing. She is so sweet and smart. She is only territorial about her food with other pets. She is older, so she will occasionally play with puppies but she normally likes to lounge around the house. She will let them play on top of her though lol. She is definitely an outdoorsy dog. You can take her on a walk or to a trail and she will be right there with you. We even let her off the leash on trails because she listens so well.

Story
Looking to adopt a new fur-baby? Look no further than Spot - affectionately called Dairy by his current foster family! This hilarious boy is has been nick-named as such because his foster mom says he looks like a little cow, and he certainly acts the part with his friendly, affectionate, and curious demeanor. If you're looking for a smart pup who can jump like an athlete when he's feeling playful, but can also be a total couch potato and give you all the kisses, Dairy is your guy. Keep in mind this jumpy boy needs a 6 foot fence because he can get a lot of air! Just be warned that he's not a huge fan of cats or other small animals, so it might be best if they stay away. This boy is a true sweetie who loves both dogs and humans, and he's sure to be the perfect addition to your family. Best of all, he's an adult so you won't have to deal with any puppy shenanigans or pee-pee pads! Approx a year old, 60lbs, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped—-he’s ready to go! Even better, our little Dairy cow has been learning so many good manners with his foster mom and foster dog brother, so he'll be coming in to his forever home with a lot of good manners, and very treat-motivated to learn more. If you're interested in adopting Spot/Dairy, please come and meet him today! Send an email to adoptpetersburg@gmail.com and include "Spot/Dairy" in the subject line to find out more about Spot or to schedule a meeting with his current foster family. Spot can't wait to find his forever family, and we all hope that it's you!

Story
Meet Bentley! Bentley is an adult hound mix, approximately 7 years old. Smart, sweet, playful, and active -- he already walks well on a leash. Bentley also can't resist a good butt scritch! Bentley was neutered this past April and loves playing with friends, human and dog alike! He has also done well with children in past meetings, although we always recommend ensuring good training and boundaries are explained for everyone in a household when introducing new furry siblings. If you are interested in meeting Bentley, please contact the shelter or email adoptpetersburg@gmail.com with "Bentley" in the subject line.

Story
Introducing Jess, a young and playful girl with lots of love to give! Jess is a 1.5 year old girl who is affectionate and loves to play. She loves people, and seems to want to love all the dogs as well, although she would benefit from some socialization with other pups, as well as some extra help with her basic manners. Jess is young and has the energy to match; she's looking for an active home that can give the exercise, play and continued training she needs! Due to Jess's energetic nature, she would do best in a home without cats. Are you ready to take on this playful pup? She'd make a great addition to any home. If you're interested in our sweet Jess, please come by the shelter today or send an email to adoptpetersburg@gmail.com with "Jesse" in the subject line.
