Story
Hello there! My name is Myla Renea, a distinguished lady of 7 years with a sleek blue and white coat. As a pit mix, I am sweet and playful. Weighing in at a fit 48 pounds, I’m the perfect size for a cozy home. I’m a fully vaccinated, spayed, and heartworm-negative gal, with all the health checks to ensure I’m ready for a new beginning. Plus, I come with a microchip! I am not good with children or cats. I am also dog selective and can only be paired with a very laid-back canine companion. However, I would do my best as the only pet in the home. My heart is loyal, and I thrive on a strong, one-on-one bond. My previous male owner beat me profusely. Therefore, I do better with females but also warm up to males. It just takes longer. I have come a long way and continue to improve with support from the people around me. I’m well-versed in the arts of house manners, crate lounging, and leash walking. I love to walk and snuggle. Currently, I’m enjoying my days being fostered in Hampton, VA, but don’t let distance be a barrier—I can be transported to nearby states for the perfect match. Just a little note: you must be 21 years or older to apply. Are you the one I’ve been waiting for? Let’s start our journey together.

Story
Hi there, I'm Sensi, a pit mix with a gorgeous apricot and white coat. I'm a 7-year-old girl who weighs 45 pounds, and I'm spayed, vaccinated, microchipped heartworm negative, and house/crate/leash trained. I'm a very sweet but nervous girl who needs a lot of love and patience. I had a rough past and people were not so good to me before I came to my foster's house. That's why I'm very scared of kids and other dogs, and I can't be with them. I also don't like cats, so I need to be the only pet in the home. I know that sounds like a lot, but I promise I have so much to offer and share. I love to play and run, and I have a lot of good energy. I get excited on the leash but have learned to calm down. I also need to eat my meals in my crate, because that's where I feel most comfortable. I just really want someone to love me and make me feel safe and happy. I'm being fostered in Hampton, Virginia, but I can be transported to the right home. If you are 21 or older and think you can be my forever human, please fill out an adoption application and mention my name. I'm ready to meet you and start our new adventure together!

Story
Hello! I am Gunner, a laid-back boy who loves to play with toys. I enjoy ropes, frisbees and tug of war. I am a hunter of squeakers and will abandon a toy once the squeaker is out. I am a smart dog who walks well on leash, and is crate and house trained. Unfortunately, I have been attacked by other dogs and no longer feel safe around them. Therefore, I need to be the only pet where I can feel safe in the home. I do get along with a senior dog in my foster home who respects my space. Therefore, there is a possibility I could fit in to a home with a similar situation. I am a resource guarder (toys and food) with other dogs, but great with people. People can be around me freely when I am eating and playing. Just in case, any kids in the home should be older and able to respect my space. I am very loving and have so much potential. I need a home where I can just be a dog. I am a 7-year-old, 45 lb. hound mix. I am neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. I am living in a foster home in Hampton, Virginia. Transport out of state can be arranged for the right home. If interested in adopting me, please complete an adoption application and my rescue will be in touch if we are a match!

Story
Hi there, I’m Emmie, a 4-year-old, 76-pound, white and black pit bull mix. I’m a laid-back and cuddly girl who loves to be with my people. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I’m a smart girl who is house and crate trained. I’m looking for a committed and understanding owner who can give me the time and training I need to overcome my insecurities. I’m a sweet and loyal companion who will make you happy and proud. I will do my best as an only pet, with no other dogs or cats, and with no children in the home. I am a laid-back girl who absolutely loves to relax and cuddle but is also always down for an adventure. I am satisfied just being with my people doing whatever the day brings and will adjust my energy level to match yours. While I am laid back, I need someone who is willing to set rules, provide boundaries, and give proper decompression time when first bringing me home. Giving me structure and guidance helps me feel more secure and will create trust with my new family. I’m currently being fostered in Hampton Roads, VA, but I can be transported to nearby states if you’re the right match for me. I’m looking for a loving and stable home where I can have fun and snuggle with my people. If you’re looking for a fun and faithful furry friend, I’m the one for you! Complete an application and my rescue will be in touch. *Must be 21 or older to apply.

Story
Hi, I'm Blue, a handsome blue and white pit bull who is looking for my forever home. I'm 7 years old, 69 pounds, neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also house, crate, and leash trained, but I could use some more practice on the leash. I'm a loyal, playful, and affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and give kisses. I'm very smart and eager to please, and I enjoy learning new tricks and playing with toys. I have a good energy and gusto, so I need a home where I can get exercise and mental stimulation. I'm good with older children who can handle my size and strength, but I'm not a fan of small kids who might pull my ears or tail. I'm also dog selective, which means I don't get along with every dog I meet. I need a proper introduction and a compatible match or to be the only dog in the home. I have not been cat tested, but I can be if you are interested in me. I'm currently being fostered in Hampton, VA, but I can travel to another state for the right home. I'm looking for a responsible and committed owner who can provide me with a loving and secure environment. You must be 21 or older to apply. If you think you are the one for me, please fill out an application and let's meet. I promise to be your best friend and faithful companion for life.

Story
Hello, I’m Hazel, a 5-year-old American Bulldog mix with a white and tan coat and a big smile. I’m a playful and sweet girl who loves to have fun and cuddle with my people. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I’m house and crate trained, but I need some help learning to walk better on a leash. I get so excited to go for walks, and I’m very strong which means I can pull hard. I need an owner who can handle me and teach me some manners. I’m good with older children and other dogs, especially mellow ones. We don’t know how I feel about cats, but I can be cat-tested if you want. I have a lot of energy and I like to run around and play with balls. But I also like to relax and nap in my own space. I have a large kennel where I feel comfortable and safe. I don’t like to be outdoors for too long, I prefer to be inside with my people. I’m afraid of being abandoned, so I don’t like to go far from home. I have some digestive issues, so I need a special diet of lamb and rice. I also need to be crated when I’m not supervised, because I can chew on things. I’m a big girl, about 77 pounds, and I can be clumsy sometimes. I would not do well with small kids, because I might knock them over. But if you are used to large dogs, you will love me. I’m a gentle giant who just wants to be loved. I have a lot of potential and I’m ready to show you what a great dog I can be. I’m being fostered in New Kent, VA but I can be transported to other states for the right home. If you think you are the one for me, please fill out an application and let’s meet. Must be at least 21 years old to apply. I can’t wait to see you!
