Story
Name: Amelia Age: 1 year Breed: Husky mix Gender: Female Weight: 30 Good with kids: Older - Avery Skittish yet Good with dogs: Yes! Will need another dog Good with cats: Curious but good! Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Appleton Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: 400 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Amelia's rescue adventure began when she and her brother Zillah escaped euthanasia at a small shelter.  Amelia spent the first few days here hiding in the back of our kennel too scared to eat or drink. Then slowly laying with out paws hanging out, and accepting the goodies her foster mom dropped off throughout the day. She still avoids eye contact at times, and will need a very dedicated home to continue working with her long term. Playing outside with the other dogs in her foster home came naturally, and having a canine pal in her forever home to help her transition is a mutst! Rope toys, Jolly balls, squeakies, you bet. Love then all! Amelia's journey is just getting started and we can't wait to see where she lands. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Story
Name: Nacho Age: 5 years Breed: chihuahua mix Guesstimated Weight: 16-18 lbs Good with dogs?: yes, but needs a safe space until he is comfortable around other dogs. He is not mean, just scared. Good with kids?: very timid around kids and hides or runs away from them. (Not aggressive at all) He would do well with older/respectful children. Good with cats: yes Crate trained?: yes Leash trained?: He did OK on the leash for his new fosters House Trained?: Yes. Has not shown any destruction. He knows how to use a dog door and enjoys spending time outdoors. Current on all vaccines?: yes Spayed/neutered?: yes Heartworm Tested?: yes Bio: Nacho will take a few days to come out of his shell. He does not trust humans in the beginning. He flinches when the humans pet him. He will only allow the petting when he is relaxing in his crate, but does not appear to find it comforting. He has never snapped at the humans. We are still working very hard to gain his trust and he makes improvements every day. He does not appear to be dog food/treat motivated, but he LOVES Vienna sausages. He would pair great with a confident dog November 5, 2024, 7:24 pm

Bio: Meet Carly! Carly joins us from our friends in Midland Texas! She is a senior chi mix with a love of the outdoors! Carly enjoys running in the yard, and sniffing all the sniffs! Carly is blind, so she will need you to stay with her if your yard is not fenced. (She has eye drops to help keep her comfortable). She has no trouble walking on a leash. Carly also has diabetes. This is regulated by receiving insulin twice daily, and eating a special food. Dogs with Diabetes will also require glucose curves at the discretion of their vet, to ensure the insulin dose is where it should be. Her care is is easy peasy, and developing a routine happens rapidly. Carly is fostered with several other dogs. She will grumble at them initially, but stops when you say her name and seems to adjust rather quickly. She has no trouble getting on furniture and likes to just hang out. Story
Name: Nikki Age: 4-5 mths Breed: terrier mix Gender: female Weight: 20lbs Good with kids: no little kids Good with dogs: yes!! Good with cats: no Current on vaccinations: yes Fixed: yes Foster location: Wi Rapids Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: $400 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Nikki is as cute as they come! She is extremely timid, but the last couple of weeks in her foster home prove she has so much potential! She has gone from shaking in fear to snuggling with foster mom on her own accord. She lets us pet her while she is eating, and loves belly rubs. She is getting better about not barking at the tiny humans, but we’re still wanting her to go to a home without young children as she is just too nervous around them. Nikki LOVES other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident, kind dog who can show her the ropes. She has minimal accidents; only when foster mom forgets it’s been a while since she’s been outside! Nikki enjoys chewing on bones and running fast through the yard. She kennels easily and sleeps there all night without a peep or accident! Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based rescue. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. Preapproval applications for future adoption are welcome.November 5, 2024, 7:24 pm

Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: yes Fixed: yes Foster location: Greenville Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: $400 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: This beautiful girl comes to us from TX. Stormy is shy and timid at first, but warms up quickly once she knows she can trust you. She is a star snuggler and really just goes with the flow of the house. She absolutely loves the kids in her foster home and sticks to them like glue. She gets along great with the other dogs in the home, including all different sizes and energy levels, taking cues from the other dogs well. She is hesitant to go in a crate for a second, but then sleeps quietly afterwards. She is doing great with house training. Stormy is a flight risk and has been known to run and will need a family that understands that she spooks easily and takes her flight risk seriously. Stormy will also need a family who understands timid dogs and how to go at her pace and earn her trust. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based rescue. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. Preapproval applications for future adoption are welcome. November 7, 2024, 11:41 pm
