I think cats are super fun and I try to play with the cats at my foster home, but I tend to have a little too much energy for them. I like talking to my foster family and sharing all my fun stories, but I will quiet down. I don't leave too much hair around, but it is dark so it's hard to see even when I do! I am very good about going potty outside, I will let you know when I have to go. I love making new friends and spending time with them! I am not a fan of being in the crate, but if I have to be I will go in. I love having all kinds of toys to play with, but chasing a ball is my favorite! I'm working on the giving it back to be thrown again so we can keep playing! I'm sure I would also LOVE playing tug-of-war with you. I need a home with someone who will match my energy by taking me out on lots of walks and playing with me often! I would love a family that likes adventures and is willing to take me along. Meet Marti! Marti is a 5 year old, neutered, double merle, male, who came to us almost completely feral. He is a slightly pudgy 40 pounds, crate trained, house broke (but still leaks a little urine when sleeping although we haven't tried medication for that yet as it has been improving). As he is double merle he has some vision issues as well. Marti will need a very special owner that is willing to give him plenty of time to learn to trust. At his foster home Marti gets along with other dogs, is great with cats, and walks off leash in a rural setting. Marti is that lower energy aussie everyone's looking for and would like a quiet home. Marti will need more training in cooperative Care which his foster is working on and is easy to implement. Hi my name is Annie, I was found wandering around out in the country. My current fosters have no knowledge of my previous living conditions. As far as my personality goes, I tend to be very high strung and anxious especially when my foster's teenage children are present. Their presence has complicated my potty training with my anxiety. Although I do sleep in my kennel all night long and only make noise if I have to go to the bathroom. During the day I hang out in my playpen if I get stressed. I will often go to my safe spaces if stressed out. I do live with 2 foster dogs, a 50lbs husky mix and a 20lbs terrier mix and I love to play with both. My fosters have been attempting to work on my training, however I am not motivated. I love going for walks and wrestling with my foster siblings. I am going to need a special home, most likely with our children, but would love some doggy brothers or sisters. My special somebody will need to be very patient with my training because even though I am almost 2, I am still learning to dog.
