You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hutch came to the shelter as a stray on 12/16/2024. We held him for the legal hold time and no one claimed him. We're guessing he could have mini Australian shepherd, border collie, and maybe some sort of spaniel and/or terrier in his breed mix. Don't hold us to this, however, because we're just not positive. He's a petite young guy who could still be under a year old. He will be vet checked and neutered on Jan. 14th and his fee is $150. Hutch is a shy guy but is well mannered and enjoys attention. Once he's comfy with people, he's very loving and kind of goofy. He keeps his kennel clean at the shelter. He will need some basic training as he's not too sure about the whole leash thing. He would prefer a somewhat quiet ADULT only home. Teens are okay. Cats are probably a no for him. He has done okay with dogs of similar size but can be a bit reluctant to share attention. He will need some consistent grooming as he does have a somewhat wavy coat. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. Yozuri and her sister Yamaha were found when their foster parents were on a walk. The sisters came trotting out of the woods where they had been living in a cardboard box. They were vetted and fostered and adopted to a home. Due to unforeseen circumstances that were not at all of her making, Yozuri finds herself back in the care of Save a Stray once again hoping for a forever home. Yozuri is just happy about life. She is housetrained and crate trained. She gets along with everyone, loves toys, and playing fetch. Yozuri is smart, comes when called, and gives attention easily. She is a playful girl but also loves to snuggle. She is a delight to have around. This girl deserves a home to treat her like a princess.
