Story
Location: Anoka, MN Hi I am Evie! I am a very sweet girl who loves belly scratches. It takes me a little while to warm up in new environments, but once I do I am a very loving puppy. I am currently potty trained, but may need a little refresher in a new environment. I would do best with a fenced in backyard since I am a very good jumper and climber. I would do best in an active household where I can have daily time outside to run and/or daily walks. I like chasing squirrels and bunny rabbits, so I will need to be on a leash when I am outside. My foster parents are working with me on crate training and I am really starting to enjoy my wire crate and I take many naps in there! I know how to sit, especially if you have a treat for me! I enjoy the company of other dogs and love running and playing with them! I am very excited to find my forever home! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
My name is Sneakers and I’m approximately 3 years old. Recently I was in an accident and my eye was damaged. It has now been removed and I feel a lot better. I’m quiet girl and I love following my humans around. I’m great with other dogs and would like a doggy friend in my furever home. I haven’t met any cats yet. I also haven’t met many kids but I’m very calm and respectful of personal space so I think I would like kids. I’m house trained and I walk well on a leash. I’m crated at night and when my foster parent isn’t home but I would really like to sleep in your bed. I can be a little shy around new people and will bark at first when I meet them, but I warm up quickly. Can I complete your family? **Sneakers needs another dog in the home to help her feel confident. ##1986660##

Story
Hello to my future family! My name is Starlight and I am so excited to meet you! I came to the Rescue Crew when I was a few days old with my entire litter (The Boys Litter) and mom. After my spay, I was adopted and moved up North. Now I am around 7 months old and was returned because the older woman said I am getting too big for her. I am currently just around 40 pounds and was estimated to be around 50-60 lbs as an adult, so on track for that. I returned to my original foster home, and I remember foster mom and the resident dogs, so I fit right back in. You will fall in love with my super soft coat and the cute white star in my chest! Now that I am a little older, my personality is really beginning to shine. I am a fun and frisky young lady and I always have a huge smile on my face. I currently live with three resident dogs (9 year old female Lab mix, 5 year old male Pittie mix, and 1 year old female Great Pyrenees mix). We also have one other foster, a 2 year old female Staffy mix. Foster mom is amazed at how calmly and quickly I was able to integrate with the other dogs. I know she appreciates that I don’t come in “hot,” but take my time to really get to know them before the playtime begins. But once all the introductions are done…I am ready for some fun chasing and tugging…and snuggling during quiet time.  We are working on some training, but I have been learning a lot from the resident dogs. I am potty trained and do great on a good schedule. I am very comfortable in my kennel. Sometimes you might need to throw a treat in to get me in, but I am quiet and calm in my kennel. We have already worked a lot on impulse control and have already shown progress in waiting patiently for food/treats and decreasing the jumping behaviors. I have a pretty good sit, down, and leave it’s, and am working on a few other things. It helps that my foster mom is a professional dog trainer and is super patient with my learning process. When in doubt, a quick “uh uh” will stop me and get my attention. Finally, I am very treat motivated so am super easy to train! I love people! I will give you a big smile and a wiggle butt and be your best friend after a few treats as a hello, just give me a minute to warm up! Foster mom says I am a master cuddler and very person focused. I really want to please my human(s) and am trying really hard to make the best decisions! So make sure to reward me when I make good decisions. Foster mom says I am a very typical doggy adolescent, and it just takes some patience and good boundaries. I will follow you anywhere, and have learned to ride well in the car. I absolutely LOVE toys…any toys really, but ones that squeak or that I can gnaw on (nylabone-type) are my favorites.  Are you the family for me? Maybe you just want the ultimate cuddler (oh yeah, I love the cuddles!). Foster mom says I am a very empathic dog, and that I respond really well to your emotional cues. I always have a happy face for my human, and just love to be near you! Foster mom says that she can tell that I just want to please the humans…get the cuddles…and eat all the treats! I would do great with any family and would do best with a confident playful older dog. Fill out an app to meet me…you won’t be disappointed! If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##1943951##

Story
Odin is a 9-year old Aussie mix who's owner died. From his foster: Looking for a sweet, friendly, silly, senior? Odin loves people and is great with dogs! He enjoys being active whether it's walks (although is a puller and we are working on that) or the dog park. His favorite is going to run around his foster granddads 42 acres!!! But Odin doesn't run off and comes when called! What a good boy Odin is a quiet boy, rarely makes a peep, not even when those darn delivery folks come to the door! He is completely potty trained, does great in a kennel but doesn't need one. He is currently not kenneled and does not get into anything. He has shown absolutely zero aggression or resource guarding with my dog nor any he has met. He's just a lovely good boy. Odin was born with a short lower jaw, although this does not hinder his eating or drinking. He often has his tongue out to the side and will dribble water a bit more than most dogs. He does great with his dry or canned food on a plate. Odin would do great in just about any household as he is a pretty easygoing guy but would do best with regular exercise. He is afraid of the vacuum but so far that's it. Does great in the car, good for baths, nail trims, and no fear of storms. From the Vet: Hi! My name is Odin and I would love to share some medical information we have learned from my history as well as my first exam at The Bond Between Vet Center! My jaw appears to have been congenital, but it is not at this time causing me any issues with my teeth! I do have history of seizures, however I have not had any episodes during the time I have been with my foster so the vet said I don't need any meds! While it is unlikely at this stage, my future adopter should monitor for any seizure activity and seek guidance with a primary vet thereafter. Hope to meet you soon and settle into my fur-ever home!

Story
Hi! My name is Flounder and I am from Kentucky. I am about 2 years old and 38 lbs. I get along well with other dogs, and when people are asked to use one word to describe me, the answer is always Sweet! I love to make new friends, could one of them be you? From his foster: Flounder is a happy 2-year-old Australian Shepard. He has a lot of energy and zooms all over the house. He loves being petted and getting belly rubs. He takes a nap around 12 or 1. He climbs up on the couch and falls asleep. Loves his stuffed animals. He tosses them between the couch and the loveseat. We are working on a good routine for potty time and giving tells but it's a work in progress.
