Story
Freckles is a beautiful Black Tri AKC certified Australian Shepard, she is 7 years old and an amazing dog and companion, unfortunately my family life has become busy and hectic with 3 children and we dont have the time at home to play and spend with her as we are always on the go. Just want her to go to a good home where she can go on walks and get to play more than she does now.

Story
I bought Sebastian when he was 8 weeks old from my old boss. He is a miniature Australian Shepherd. He is super energetic and enjoys fetch with a bouncing ball and cuddles. He is super smart and catches on to things very fast so any tricks or extra training you would like to teach would not take long. The pat few months he has had some behavioral issues but I know it’s mainly because there have been a lot of sudden changes in our lives. Unfortunately, I no longer have the capacity to care for him in the way that is needed as his breed needs a lot of attention. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Story
Personality: Daisy is a sweet and gentle soul, a delicate bloom with a heart full of love waiting to unfold. Despite her initial reservations, Daisy is a loyal friend once she trusts you. She may take a bit of time to warm up, but patience and understanding will be rewarded with the genuine affection she has to offer. In a calm and nurturing environment, Daisy's playful side starts to emerge, revealing a delightful personality that's just waiting to bloom. Daisy absolutely adores belly rubs and finds pure joy in the simple pleasure of being pampered. Her face lights up with happiness as she revels in the gentle touch that brings her comfort and reassurance. If you're ready to be the sunshine in Daisy's world, offering her the patient and loving home she deserves, you might just find that this pup becomes the brightest bloom in your life. Adopt Daisy, and watch as she unfolds into the wonderful canine companion she was meant to be, bringing love, joy, and a touch of reserved charm into your home.History: Daisy, a sweet pup, was initially adopted from OHAR as a young and hopeful addition to a loving family. Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and her family made the difficult decision to return her. This sudden turn of events left Daisy heartbroken and bewildered, as her familiar world crumbled around her. Now, in a new environment, Daisy is in the process of adapting to her changed circumstances. As we uncover more about Daisy's personality and journey, her bio and photos will be updated to reflect the resilient and lovable spirit that defines her.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess

Story
** COURTESY POST ** ** This animal is NOT at the Rowlett Animal Shelter, so please do not inquire with them ** ** For information contact Tracy Johnson; 214-697-7362 ** Meet Scout (aka Muffin.  The shelter called her Muffin, but we felt Scout was a better fit.  Feel free to re-name her when she is yours).  This soft-coated, beautiful dog is being fostered by our son in who is a college student in Waco, but Scout frequently visits us in Rowlett and will be with us most of July.  Scout is believed to be an Australian Shepherd mix, approximately 2 years old.  She is energetic, smart and loves to cuddle.  She is trained to sit & fetch, loves to go on walks and can entertain herself with her toys.   I cannot say enough wonderful things about Scout and would love to keep her, however we recommend that Scout goes to a home where she will be the only pet. She LOVES humans, smiles when she sees them, but Scout does not get along with other dogs (of any size) or cats.   Our male dog was incompatible with Scout as he can be skittish and aggressive.   After getting to know this sweet girl, we are confident she will be an amazing pet for the right person or family.  Scout is a true angel with our special needs nephew. Actually, everyone Scout meets falls in love with her, especially the neighborhood kids.   She is also great in the car (road trips or running errands)  she’s a little doll in public stores.   Also, she rarely has an accident in the house and is crate trained. Scout has been spayed.  At this time, she is heartworm positive, but scheduled for treatment in Waco on July 17th.   We will take care of this expense and will provide heartworm prevention medication for one year. We are committed to finding her a home as the Waco shelter does euthanize and we are not going to allow that to happen. Please contact us if you are interested.   We have plenty of videos and pictures to share.August 19, 2024, 2:48 pm
