Ridgey is a loveable and sweet doggy! She's 6 years old, fully trained and well-behaved. Unfortunately our son was diagnosed with severe allergies to dog hair, which is the only reason we are looking to re-home her with a lucky and loving family. She's fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Ghandi was rescued about to be poisoned in a park in Guadalajara, Mexico. This tiny, good natured gentleman was smart not to eat any of the sausages left for him and two other pups to die. Ghandi is the epitome of sweetness. He has a calm demeanor and is always looking for affection. He is 2 years old and ~8lbs. He will be soon in the PNW and is looking for his forever home!   He would do best with someone who can be around a lot, maybe work from home and who can take him along. He would love another dog to play with and a fully fenced yard! ##2124752##

Grandma Bean is a senior gal who is about 10 pounds. She came to us as a stray and has been shy with staff. Grandma Bean is sensitive about handling and she's looking for a calm, quiet family who can be respectful of her. She's been in foster and she's done well with a large dog in the home and is learning her new routine. She's slowly warming up to the fosters and is starting to lay on the couch next to them. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase Quick Pay via Zelle, PayPal, or cash. Poor innocent, sweet & forgotten about Gapy, was ready to be euthanized in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. He had zero public interest & zero rescue interest on social media. An email went out for help & this beautiful boy was on that list. Yes, it appears at the age of 3 he was going to die which is absolutely unacceptable. We rescued this beautiful boy & 2 other sweet baby dolls out of that same kill shelter from that very same kill list all at once. That day was 1 very sad & joyous day all at the same time. Gapy who is now looking for his very own forever home who will never give up on him again & love him just as his foster mum & we do. After we got Gapy all his care with his amazing foster mum he will be bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find his loving forever home. We truly believe that Gapy was originally someone’s dog & they just did not want him anymore from his mannerisms & his behavior of knowing certain things. All this boy wants is to be loved & have a home to call his own. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. When we got him out of the shelter his nails were so extremely long & his nails were clipped by our vets but will need to be & regularly dremeled to get them to a good place. Gapy at times can have a big personality & knows what he wants. He isn’t the biggest cuddler but enjoys being patted & being loved. He is a independent little man. That being said, Gapy is a good eater, he loves to eat & he is making up for lost time & put on weight instantly in his foster home. Gapy’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard. He also enjoys sunning himself in the backyard & also sitting on the couch & looking out the window, he really enjoys taking in the sites. But he will also do his own thing. Gapy has been great with his baths because he started having them with us the moment he was rescued so he is used to them. Gapy rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey & still needs continued work walking on his harness & leash. But has done amazing in his foster home. We are looking for a forever home for Gapy where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them & there must be another dog in the home for him to thrive. Gapy loves other dogs & needs another dog in the home to play with. This is mandatory for his new home. This boy enjoys going into a crate sometimes so that tells us that someone used to call him to go into a crate. In his foster home he sleeps in the bed with his foster mum or will sleep on the dog bed. Gapy is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Gapy has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & was fostered in CA with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. It’s mandatory for him to be in a home with a playful dog. Gapy is roughly just over 6 years old & 21 lbs & is perhaps a dachshund & chihuahua mix, (chiweenie), male. He had a dental & polish & we got him neutered. Gapy is, microchipped, heart worm negative, up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed. We are currently treating Gapy for a bad skin infection. We have spent far more on Gapy, with all of his medical care getting him well thank his adoption fee comes close to covering with, neuter, paying his shelter fee to get him out of the shelter, shots, flea meds, dewormer, boarding, dental scale & polish etc. Gapy has been around cats since being in the rescue & did well with the cat in his foster home but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. Just because he got along fine with the cat in the foster home doesn’t mean he will get along with all cats. We have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Gapy was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Gapy’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Gapy potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Gapy has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Gapy & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Gapy who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little chap. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Gapy has an adoption fee of $895 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Daryl is a very energetic dog. He has history of abuse by children and cannot go to a home with kids. He gets along with dogs and cats, chickens , ducks, cows, goats and horses. I would love to find him a home that has time and energy to take him on walks, and play ball with him. He LOVES to play ball. He will bring it back to throw again and again. He will sleep in bed with you if you let him. Loves to chill in his crate where his lovey is. He loves to go camping and for rides on quads or motorcycles. He knows sit, down , up, around, rollover, play dead and shake and hi five. His only flaw is he wants to bite kids. They always want to cuddle or hold him. This is his trigger. I can do all of that and lay on him. He has never even nipped at me. He is healthy and active loyal and loving. I with heavy heart feel it is best to find him a home with out kids. We love Daryl. And I am in no hurry to get rid of him. Needs to be the right fi.t.

Chiqui is a sweet and cuddly dog born on August 6th, 2022. At 2 years old and 12 pounds, she is deeply affectionate and forms strong bonds with her caregivers. Due to a family illness, the hope is to find a home that can match her playful and loving nature. While Chiqui is not aggressive, she does experience anxiety around larger dogs (over 30 pounds). However she is well behaved with small cats and dogs. She has a small blatter, so potty breaks every 2 hours. Chiqui can also stay home by herself for up to 5 hours with no accidents indoors.
