Story
Sweet little lady was rescued in Yakima from a hoarding situation where she was left with her dog mates to fend for themselves for over a week. She as just gotten spayed and is ready for a family of her own. She is super sweet. She is good with other dogs and loves getting belly scratches. She would do best in a home with a female but warms up to men with time. She would love to have another dog in the home to help show her the ropes. She loves to give kisses and does great in a crate. Not a barker!

Story
Fernando was rescued in Yakima from a hoarding/neglectful situation. He was rescued with what we assume to be his family. He is very shy and will take some time to decompress in his new home. He is very sweet though and with a patient owner he will thrive. He does amazing in a travel carrier, in the car, and will need some work with a leash. He would probably benefit from a single female that lives in calm home environment. He would love having another dog companion.

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster near Rochester WA MAGGIE is the pup that will lead you down the path with pure happiness. She will be great for a family with children. She will be great for hikes and playing at the river or lake. Her DOB is 3/9/24 and is about 15#s. We expect her to get to be about 30#s. We are not sure of the breed. She may be of a Terrier mix…she does look a lot like Mom (see last picture). Mom does have short legs, though. There may be some Dachshund in Mom. She loves other dogs but has not been around cats yet. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Adorable little Buffy is now 11wks old, weighs a little over 4lbs and she’s ready for her own, forever home. She is a Chiweenie mix, with perhaps havanese. We’re not sure of her mix, although she looks like a little havanese and she will need to see the groomer a few times per year. Her mama is a 16lb Chiweenie (pictured). We expect Buffy to be about 12lbs or so when full grown. She is a very happy, social girl that already loves to meet new people so a socially active home would be ideal. She also loves to play and wrestle with her siblings and foster dogs so another dog in the home would be preferred. She even gets along great with the kitties. She would do best with a work from home person, or with someone that does not leave her for more than 4-5hrs each day. Because she is such a tiny girl, kids must be over 12yrs old. She gets very excited when it’s time to go outside to run and play so a fenced yard would be best. She is too young to be spayed so at adoption, her future surgery will be scheduled
