Story
Magnolia is a 2 year old female spayed heeler mix (3/4 ACD, 1/4 American pitbull). We have had her since she was 6 weeks old, when someone was giving away puppies at the farmers market. She has been a loyal companion to our two other dogs until this spring. Magnolia began to show aggression towards one of our other dogs in the form of resource guarding. We no longer think it is safe for either dog to keep them in the same household. Magnolia is incredibly smart, and very loyal and eager to please. It breaks our heart to have to rehome her, but we believe it is the right call for Maggie and she would be happier in a place where she did not feel she needed to compete with our other dog. Maggie is a wonderful walking buddy and uses a gentle leader. She does great in car rides. She is crate trained and goes to it when instructed. She is also very well house trained. She is very healthy, up to date on all vaccines and preventions.

Story
Molly was born on 09/10/2023 . She is a very energetic and lively puppy. She would do best in a home with older children due to resource guarding she has been displaying. I am asking for her to go to a home to someone that is experienced with the breed or in this area of expertise in resource guarding. She loves to fetch, running, and playing ( she’s full of energy) so she would need to go to a home where she is able to run around. She is VERY SMART and easy to train especially with food. She is all puppy right now so she will need patience as she navigates this stage in her life. She has been kennel trained and we can provide her kennel to the adoptees. She is a nervous dog and this may be an adjustment so just be prepared for that as well. Thank you !

Story
Love isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. And Relay has the heart and soul to go the distance by your side! Relay is a fun and happy go lucky guy who takes life in stride. He just doesn't want to hear any jokes about three-legged relay races - he already knows them all! This fun loving tri-pod loves to play with his dog friends here at the shelter and would likely do well in a home with another dog. Relay has a rough and rowdy play style. Meet and greets are recommended for any potential canine siblings to make sure they and Relay would be a good match. If you are looking for a confident adventure buddy, Relay is your boy! He is always up for a game of fetch or tug or to head out on a walk or hike. Relay is an active dog that would do best in an active home to help keep his mind and body busy. Looking for a brewery or restaurant buddy? Relay has been a favorite to take on doggie day outs from the shelter where he loves to hang out on patios and enjoy some good company! When he’s not working on his fitness, Relay loves to snuggle up with his favorite humans and his “emotional support ball”. He’s sweet and snuggly and his heart is as big as his blocky head! So don’t walk – RUN - to meet this sweet handsome and athletic boy today! He’d love to pass the baton to a family of his own to love! If you’re interested in meeting Relay, race now to his adoption application and fill that out to schedule a meet and greet. Please note that meet and greets are by appointment only. Relay is 3 years old and weighs 61 lbs. All of our animals come fully vetted so he is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and preventatives.

Story
Bishop is a 2 yo male sheepadoodle adopted at 8 weeks of age. He is an absolute sweetheart. Bishop would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. He has anxiety issues that play out as aggression with other dogs, herding cats, panting and drooling in stressful situations. He has NEVER acted aggressive toward people. I'm very sad to put them him up for adoption, but my youngest just moved out and I'm finding it impossible to get home to walk and spend time with him consistently. I am being very selective in finding Bishop a new home. He is very special and I will only give him to someone who has the time, energy and patience to take care of him. He's my baby and I love him very much.
