Story
Kobe is a great dog, as he's full of energy, great with kids and is very loving. We've recently relocated and due to our new schedules, we simply don't have the time to suit his needs. I am not asking for any money. Rather, I am simply hoping he can find a new family that can take good care of him.

Story
Meet Shadow! She is a female German Shephard born November 13, 2017 who is looking for a special family who will work with her megaesogphagus which is a condition that requires her to eat pureed food from sitting up. Dogs with this condition can live long and productive lives and we expect Shadow to as well! She’s friendly with other dogs great with kids and being trained /raised by Mary with Service Peace Warriors. Shadow is a beautiful girl who is very shy but bonds strongly and quickly with 'her people'. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise. Applications can found at our website mikeyschance.com. Please note that adopters are not chosen on a first come, first served basis, but full consideration is given to the best fit for the dog AND the adopter. Applications can 2-4 weeks to process, application submission does not guarantee approval for adoption.

Story
Born September 11, 2019, Lando is a male German Shepherd. He has megaesophagus so he does require eating and drinking upright in a Bailey chair but is able to just eat regular kibble while in his chair. He requires 20-30 minutes upright in his chair after eating each meal. Lando is a typical shepherd who bonds closely with his people. He currently lives with other dogs and older children. Once he warms up, Lando is very goofy and silly. We do require a fenced yard and breed experience for our German Shepherds. All dogs in adopters homes must be up to date on vaccinations and altered. Homes must have a 6ft secure fence and no children under 5. Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise. Story
Born February 2020, Eclipse is a male Lab mix who was born blind with a purely cosmetic cleft palate. He has no issues eating, drinking or getting around. Eclipse is going to make some family a great companion - he loves people and especially kids. Eclipse's favorite things are snuggling up right beside his person and accepting some much wanted belly rubs! He's currently 45 lbs. and is still growing. He does best with dogs at least his size and kids over the age of 8. Cats are unknown. Eclipse is fully vaccinated, neutered and micro chipped. We know that very special person or family is out there for Eclipse because he has a whole lotta life to live! He may be special needs (trust us, he doesn't know it!), however like any other puppy he just wants to have fun and show unconditional love and devotion to his family. A securely fenced yard is a must. Story
Update: Vela is as sweet as the day is long. She loves to be next to your side as much as possible. She can go in and out of the dog door and up and down the stairs very well by now! She still has the random accident in the house, but is mostly potty trained. Born July 6, 2019 Vela is a female German Shepherd mix. Here is what her foster mom says about her: Vela is a brave little love who is not afraid to go up OR down stairs! She tends to stick closer to her person, but does love exploring the backyard. She has figured out how to go OUT the doggie door, but struggles with getting in. Vela is a girl after her beauty sleep and will sometimes put herself to bed in the crate that she shares with her sister. Vela does not like to pee or poop in the crate and will hold it until morning when she will use a potty pad, hitting the mark about 90% of the time. Applications for Vela can be accessed at www.mikeyschance.com Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.
