**Shadow is currently in a foster home! Please call WCHS if you would like to make an appointment to meet him**·Intake Reason: Surrendered, chasing cats in previous home·Weight: 56 lbs My adoption fee has been generously sponsored by a member of the community! Now all I need is you!Known with: ·Cats: Will chase them, WCHS recommends a home w/ no cats ·Dogs: lived with multiple dogs in previous home, does well in WCHS playgroups ·Kids: Curious w/ 1 1/2 yr old when visiting in previous homeFun Facts About Me:•I am a shy guy with a tender soul and a ginormous heart with tons of love to give•I must confess that I fancy the ladies and am slow to warm up to men; I have, however, found a bestie with one of the male dog walkers•I have lots of energy and am quite the athlete; I have jumped a 4-foot fence to play with a neighbor dog•I could use some socialization and confidence building; perhaps we can try some canine sports, tricks training, nose work or dog parkour•Although I am cool with a crate, I had the luxury of choosing to sleep in my cozy bed, on the floor or even with my human in their bed•I am a playful dude who likes tennis balls and playing fetch•Since new situations and environments can make me nervous, I will be counting on you to keep me safe with a Martingale collar#2

·Intake Reason: Transferred From MADACC -Weight: 20.0 lbs. Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Dogs: Unknown ·Kids: UnknownFun Facts About Me:•I am a high-energy active gal who is always up for a game and having a good time; I am quite playful•I am a little chatter box who has something to say to everyone; what can I say – I like to talk•I must confess that I do like to jump up on people; perhaps some manners training would do me some good•I do like to go on walks but I think the leash is a toy perfectly made for tug-o-war; I guess I need to work on that too•Although I can be a bit wiggly, I am a lover-girl at heart; come on down to my level and I will be all over you and ready for a marathon snuggle session#2Puppies are magnificent! I am cute, rambunctious, lively and fun. I have so much to learn, discover and explore - just a tiny sponge who is ready to absorb everything you have to teach me and show me. I am counting on you to help me safely navigate the world and experience new things each day to allow me to grow into a confident young dog. That isn’t as exotic and daunting a task as it might sound. Each day I just need to be introduced to one new thing like the sound of a vacuum, a blender or a door bell, walking up and down a step, a ride in a car, hearing a motorcycle or a truck, going somewhere to see new people, even maneuvering a fallen log on a walk. You get the idea, so many things that seem common to you are completely new to me. Speaking of growing, I may be tiny now but I do plan on getting bigger so I would love to take obedience classes to learn proper manners and social skills. I also know I have to practice something called house-training so I know proper potty behavior. A routine and lots of yummy treats and praise will go a long way to helping me master house-training when I potty outside. Puppies and dogs need love, exercise, mental stimulation and consistency to be healthy, happy and confident. I am typically very open to all sorts of housemates; I can be a bit mischievous and may find any other critter as a potential playmate so they will need to understand that about me. I often explore the world with my mouth and while I am teething I like to chew; my little puppy teeth are very sharp so if I am around children we should always be supervised. It is important that children learn about respecting me, too, and treat me gently because I am fragile. Raising a puppy

Intake Reason: Transferred to WCHS from MADACC.Weight: 60 lbs. Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Dogs: Unknown ·Kids: UnknownMy adoption fee has been generously sponsored by a member of the community! Now all I need is you.Fun Facts About Me:•I am an energetic girl who likes to stay physically and mentally active to keep me at my best•I would benefit from some training to help me walk more politely on a leash and keep four-on-the-floor when I meet and greet people•I’m smart and already know the cues for ‘sit’ and ‘shake/paw’ so we can expand on that base•I might also benefit from learning fun skills to help me build some confidence because sometimes I get a little anxious in new situations. I think I might enjoy nose-work, agility, tricks training or even dog parkour•I have been having fun participating in the rowdy play-groups at the shelter; I just dive right in, approach the dogs quickly and meet them straight on. I guess I have no confidence issues when it comes to other pooches.•I am a friendly and affectionate gal who loves to spend quiet time with humans getting cuddles, snuggles and all-over body massages#2
