Story
Oliver is a lovely colored merle Australian Shepherd. Oliver's owner was having severe health issues and tried everything she could to find him a home on her own. Oliver is almost 4 years old, he is house and kennel-trained. He does not do well with cats and smaller dogs. Oliver does best in a home with a submissive female dog. When surrendered Olivers owner expressed that he does not like men/teenage boys. So far here at the shelter, Oliver has done well with our male dog walkers, he has shown dislike towards teenage boys however. Oliver has had some training with the basics, but could use good refresher. He loves to play fetch, swim and go for runs. Being a herding breed Oliver will chase cars, bikes and likes to herd humans. Oliver is neutered and current on all vaccines.“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Lola and her buddy Kobi are recent transfers from another shelter, where they had been surrendered due to their owner facing health concerns. Lola does have seasonal and food allergies, she does best on Salmon and Potato food. She gets a bath with a medicated shampoo when these flare-ups happen. Lola is a sweet 43lb Whippet Mix. She is originally from Oklahoma as a rescue. Lola is house and crate trained, but has not been crated due to being a great girl free roaming the house. Lola rides well in the car and walks on a leash. She has lived with children 14yo and older. Lola has been around other strange dogs and has a few she met she didn't not get along with. Lola has not been introduced to cats. Lola and Kobi would do well as an adopted pair, however, that is not a must.“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Mister and his buddy Timber were found running in the country and not reclaimed by their owners. Mister is an active lil fella who is looking for an busy home, or a farm with a job to do. He is very sweet and seems to enjoy everyone's company. He is shy at first, but it doesn't take long to warm up to you. He seems to have lived mostly outside, as he is afraid of things indoors but is taking everything like a champ! It is unknown whether he is good with other dogs, cats or kids.“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Timber and Mister were found running together in the country, and never reclaimed by their owner. Timber is approximately three years old and has looked to have had puppies in the past. She is a loving, sweet girl. Timber is very active, being a working-line German Shepherd. She will require a breed-knowledgeable owner. Timber was found wearing a wire muzzle, but we have not determined the reason for it. She has been good with food/treats and affection. Timber will be spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated before being adopted. At this time, it is unknown if Timber is good with other dogs or kids, but she dislikes cats. She is recommended for a home with children over the age of 12.** BREED EXPERIENCE A MUST**“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Gabbie is an older puppy, and will require all the things puppies need, such as potty/crate training, leash manners and basic obedience. She is not so sure about this cold weather in WI, so is sporting a cute little sweater to help keep her warm! Gabbie is full of spunk and has energy for days! She will be a happy girl with kids to keep her busy, or an active family home.“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
