Please say hello to this handsome boy named Henry! He arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own on 12/5 because he got lost on a great adventure. The volunteers describe him as a sweet, sweet boy who is very friendly and playful. Henry loves all kinds of toys: squeaky toys, stuffed toys, and balls! He especially loves playing fetch. Although Henry is adjusting to the loud, overwhelming shelter, this is no place for a senior. He deserves to be in a loving home with a soft bed and lots of treats for his golden years. Henry may be housetrained, and we think he is a smart cookie because he knows how to sit and shake nicely when asked. He is a typical Lab who is eager to please and a natural at learning new things. If you have a soft spot for seniors, then please come meet him today! Henry is current on vaccines and microchipped. He may not be neutered at the shelter due to his age, He is heartworm negative which is a blessing for Henry. Henry is approximately 10 years old, and he weighs 59 lbs. This gorgeous black Lab mix is Bibi! She was found running near US 41 on 12/15 and brought to the shelter. We're surprised no one is missing this sweet girl! The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Bibi and describe her as friendly and affectionate. She has lots of energy and she's very playful, so if you're looking for a dog to keep you active, she's it! Bibi is also smart, attentive, and eager to please. Diamond is a 5-year-old white Lab-Australian Shepherd mix. She is approximately 35lbs...but very compact. She's spayed and was treated for HW on October 9&10. Diamond is extremely timid and submissive until she feels safe with you. She's very sweet and loving. Sadly, she cowers a lot and will roll over on her back in hopes that she's being good. If she's rewarded with a belly scratch session, she'll take it all day long! She prefers to be near her best friend Tookie, preferably napping after a good wrestling match. She stresses when she is not with him. We don't know how she is with cats or young kids. She's fine with older kids and all other humans. She's crate-trained and does well walking on a leash.
