Story
Hi there! I am seeking a new home for my beloved dog, Milo. Milo is a pit/lab who is 4 years old, and he has been such an important part of our family. However, due to a recent change in our lives—preparing for a move to a new state—we are unable to provide him with the attention, time, and space that he deserves. Milo is a sweet, loyal, and affectionate dog who loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch and giving lots of cuddles. He is incredibly good-natured, especially with children, and would do best in a family that has the time to give him the attention and exercise he needs. He loves his daily walks, car rides, and playing fetch in the yard.

Story
Hello! It is with a heavy heart that I am seeking a new home for my sweet dog, Navy. Navy is a pit/lab, 4 years old, and he has been an incredible companion to our family. However, due to an upcoming move to a new state, we are no longer able to bring Navy with us. It’s a very difficult decision, but we know it’s in his best interest to find him a loving home where he will continue to thrive and be happy. Despite his size, Navy is a big softie. He’s incredibly gentle, especially around children, and he has a calm, laid-back demeanor that makes him a joy to have around. He loves snuggling up and being near his humans. Navy is fantastic with children and has grown up in a household with little ones. He’s patient, loving, and always ready to play. Whether it’s running around in the backyard or quietly lounging next to them, he’s always gentle and kind.

Story
Meet Dave! This hunk of love is a 3 year old Chocolate Lab mix. Dave is about 73 lbs. Dave came from the Fayette County Animal Shelter and has LOVED having a foster home now! He is extremely trainable, he loves treats, and he's super eager to please. He is housebroken, and crate trained. Dave is so good about telling you what he wants too! Now for the things Dave loves, in no particular order: People Couches (if the people are on it) Dogs that will play with him Food Attention Chew toys Oh, and most importantly: Dave believes that Ball is life! If you do not have tennis balls, Dave will insist that you invest in some. He also loves golf cart rides and going on adventures with his humans. His favorite places to go are places where his humans will shower him with love and attention! He will do just about everything so long as he can be with his people. He also does well with calm cats after a slow introduction. His foster mom's dream for Dave, is a forever family with another active dog to play with. He LOVES his foster siblings, and wants to play with them any chance they will allow. He will need a physically strong and energetic owner because of how strong and energetic he is. He's Fantastic on a leash (most of the time) but he can pull if something (like a dog he wants to play with) gets his attention. Dave would also do best with dog savvy older children because of his size, strength, and athleticism. Dave has some selective reactivity, that is getting much better as he gets more comfortable and confident in his environment, So, please understand that he may take some time to get used to you or your family, and he will need to continue being socialized regularly. Because of his reactivity, and strength, he would be best in a home with older/larger children, or a home with no kids at all. If you believe you and Dave are right for each other, go ahead and fill out an application. He would love to meet you! If you are interested in adopting Dave, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-7727 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. Meet Anthem! Anthem is a sweet & active boy. He loves to play with tennis balls. He gets along with other dogs and is good with kids. He sleeps with his humans through the night and loves playing with his foster siblings and going to the dog park. He is housetrained and crate trained. He is 6 months old and one of his adopted siblings got a DNA test! He is part Staffordshire Terrier and Labrador Retriever with a small amount of LOTS of other breeds like Chihuahua, German Shepherd, Cocker Spaniel, Boston Terrier, and Cattle Dog. Wow! Story
Let's get Katie a home! She loves love. She is so happy to get held and get snuggles. She wants to be with her person and will just melt into your arms when you hold her. Katie is super athletic. If anyone was looking for a dog to do agility training, she’d be your girl. She loves to play with other dogs and is learning boundaries and when to let the other dog have a break. She is working on potty training, but is not there yet. She is great at sleeping overnight in her crate. She has not been around cats or little kids yet, but we think that she would do well with both. She is a social butterfly and loves everyone she meets! Katie is four months old and weighs about 25 pounds. Her momma is a beautiful 50-60 pound Labrador/Pitbull mix and we think that Dad was the Great Pyrenees who has been hanging about. How big will Katie get? We are not sure, but we think that she will at least reach mom's size. If you are interested in adopting Katie, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-61849 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. Story
Meet Symba! She is our newest girl who is looking for forever home. Symba is one and a half years old and is full-grown at 40 pounds. She does great with other dogs and with kids, but she has not been around cats to our knowledge. She’s a high energy girl who loves to run around in the yard, play with toys, and go for walks. She is fully house trained and crate trained. Both of her parents were retriever mixes-maybe lab maybe golden, and apparently there is husky somewhere in her lineage. She says it doesn’t matter though what her breed mix is- she is just happy happy happy! If you are interested in adopting Symba, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete.
