Story
This dog was inherited from our grandmother, who adopted him before her unfortunate passing. We cannot afford to keep him, but our heart aches to see him go into a shelter where he may stay for years on end. He is a sweet, sociable dog, and we and we would love to make sure he is placed in a good home.

Story
Celsius is adorable!  she is loving, friendly, kind, gets along great with other dogs.  She is playful, energetic, but puppy crazy energetic. She would be the perfect pet for an active person who likes to take walks, or hike.  She is housebroken. She has no history of a bite or aggressive behavior towards people.  She is not doing great in our sanctuary with many other dominant dogs.  She would do best in a home as the diva of the hourse!. She does have a high prey drive.  NO CATS required in her new home.  We saved her from certain death at the SEAACA shelter. She had kennel cough, a fever and no appetite.  Of course we treated her and now she is great!  She really needs a home of her own with someone who can give her attention and love.  The shelter said she is 10 years old. her frosted face makes it seem that way, but she acts more like a 6-7 year old. ##1452021##

Story
URGENT NEED FOR A HOME!!!!!!  Crankshaft, is a 10-year-old neutered male staffie that came to the shelter as a stray and sat in a kennel for 100 days! He was a staff and volunteer favorite. And yet, no one wanted to adopt him!  We rescued him on September 22, 2023. Crankshaft is very friendly and sweet with people. He is great on a leash and can even walk with other dogs by his side or in the yard. . He was great with other dogs at the shelter in play groups.  He is great with female dogs, but does not like male dogs.  As such, he has to stay kenneled.  So we saved him from 100 days in a small kennel at the shelter to a large kennel with us.  HE NEEDS A HOME!  he is the sweetest dog!!!!!!!   We did not save him to put him back in a cage. He needs a home NOW! ##1851633##

Story
Carnation is a 12 year old siberian husky who we rescued from the Downey Shelter on October 16, 2023. She came to the shelter as a 12 year old stray. Despite her appearance, she is super friendly with people. We have been introducing her to the pack and she is friendly with other dogs, both male and female.  When she first arrived she was not spayed and had a huge tumor in her eye. As can be guessed, she was leary of dogs and "greets" them with a growl and a jump,   She has been spayed and had her tumor removed. She is still not living with the pack and therefore has to be separated.  We  did not save her to put her in a kennel. She needs a home now!  She is the sweetest, most people friendly dog.  She gives licks and just wants to be with you.   We are so saddened to see her confined to a large kennel. She needs a home!!!! We desperately need a foster or adopter for her.  ##1851635##

Story
URGENT NEED FOR ADOPTER OR FOSTER FOR COBALT!  This dog is blue from the north central shetler. he spent over ONE YEAR in the shelter.  he was medically alerted and schedueld to die for losing weight and having tumors.  At the last minute someone stepped up to temporarily foster blue to save his life. his tumors were removed and now he needs a home!  he is very friendly and playful.  he likes other dogs.  Our temporary foster sent him back, through no fault of his own. He is great with all the dogs at the sancutary, but some of the dogs don't dig him!   a senior dog sanctuary is no place for a 6 year old healthy dog!  We needs a home NOW!!!    This dog is sweet, kind, friendly and deserves to have the best of the rest of his life!  Please help us get back to saving senior dogs ! we can not save another dog until Cobalt has a home! ##2011277##
