Story
Tess is an energetic girl who likes to be the star of the show! She can be a little diva but underneath it all, Tess is just a sweet and affectionate girl who wants to share all of her love with you. Tess has had limited exposure to life as a pet however she is coming along well in her training to reach her full paw-tential (especially when treats are used in the training)! Tess is a very friendly girl and loves to trot up to people, looking for some pats and rubs! Tess has experience with children too, ages 10-16 years. Tess got on great with the kids and would definitely be a great fit in a home with older children. While Tess is very human social, this unfortunately does not extend to the other dogs she has met. Tess is an independent lady, so as well as enjoying her own company, she has shown no issues with being left alone for longer periods of time. Tess would be a good fit in a home where her humans are out during the day for working or school hours. Tess is a lovely dog with a very big heart and with a bit more training, a little patience and a lot of love from her new family, she will quickly become the beating heart of the home. She is sweet and affectionate and would make a great addition to a family with older kids where she can shine her brightest.

Story
Henry, aka Henry the Hawk, is a happy black ex-racer born on November 1, 2019. His sire is Zambora Brockie and his dam is Smashing Sally. Henry ran in 54 races all over Australia before coming to America. We do know that Henry should not live with cats. Henry is a happy, energetic and strong boy. He loves to go for walks, runs, and also playing with balls and toys. He is friendly and sociable, adores being with people and hanging out with you, loves car rides and is up for adventures. Henry would suit an active household with a backyard, best with older kids as he would knock over young children. He is ok for workers as after his morning run in the yard or a walk, he is happy to lie around until you get home, then he will be excited to see you and want to get going again! He would be ok inside for some chill time with you after exercise, though he needs to learn more house manners in a foster home.

Story
Andie is a beautiful, fun, happy girl with a heart of gold. She is just an all-round superstar who can’t wait to become a pet. Andie is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. She is super social and loves to meet new people and make new friends. She is very playful and excitable, always hoping you’ll want to play and give her a quick cuddle! She is great with older children as they are usually the only ones that can keep up with her energy levels! Don’t be fooled by her active personality though, Andie’s not a hyper dog and actually walks very well on the lead. Andie is not only a great friend to people, she isalso wonderful with other dogs. Andie has met a wide range of dog breeds, of all different shapes and sizes! She has socialised with Italian Greyhounds, a Border Collie, catle dogs and Cavoodles to name a few and she was always just great with them! A quick sniff and hello, maybe some playing if they were up for it, and Andie would be on her way again happy to have even more friends added to her list! Andie is also well able to keep herself entertained! She loves a quick run around; sniffing and playing in new environments and dipping her litle toes in some water whenever she gets the chance! Andie is very fond of her toys and in particular, loved a litle ducky toy that she had previously. Andie is just the ultimate pet. She emits the happiest most joyful energy and would brighten any home that she enters.

Story
Until recently, Atticus spent his life in a home as an only dog. Tragically his owner passed away in February. Since then, Atticus has been adrift in the world (as we all are, from time to time), but he hasn’t let it get him down. His happy little spirit is evident despite the rocky upset of this recent chapter and every person who meets him falls in love with his enthusiastic (and chaotic) tail wags. He is a very people centered hound, and loves to make new human friends. If you are home, Atticus will want to be where you are, be it living room, bedroom or bathroom. In his foster home, he liked to sleep next to his foster mom and understood when it’s bedtime. Typically, If you are home, he will follow you to make sure that he’s not missing any chance at some attention or snacks. Atticus has been left alone at home during the day for long stretches of time and hasn’t gotten into any trouble (no bathroom accidents or chewing) although he would certainly be smart and ambitious enough to counter surf and probe for bonus treats if given the chance. Atticus is a firm believer that age is just a number. Despite technically being in the senior class, he loves to go on long walks and will dance around when he sees you grab the leash. He loves to be outside in the sun but doesn’t bark or cause a nuisance. He has a curious mind and wants to know what everyone is up to. He will always be so happy to see you when you return home and he is a leaner. He will lean right into you if he gets the slightest sense that you will love on him and he very much wants to show that he loves you right back. Atticus needs to find his new forever home soonest. He is quick to trust and always assumes the best of everybody he meets. This people-loving boy needs an only-dog home where he can be adored and can adore his person. He has many years of happy tail wagging in his future. He just needs to find his new place in the world for his next and hopefully final chapter. Atticus shouldn’t live with small dogs, cats, or other pets.

Story
Jed is a lovely young dog who is still a big puppy at heart. Jed has a passionate love for life and is always excited to see a friendly face! Jed is always on the look out to try and find a new best friend, so don’t be surprised if he comes on a little strong at first! Jed would suit a house with older or no children as he does get very excited and has a tendency to jump when he spots a potential new friend (don’t worry, he does settle down!). Jed has experience socializing with small dogs and after an initial good sniff, he usually loses interest- he’s just too committed to humans! He is also cat workable! Jed’s love of life doesn’t just show in his love for humans, he’s a bit of a detective and likes to give his environment a good look over. Jed is a lovely, excited and curious dog who would make a wonderfully loyal pet to his forever family.
