Story
According to his DNA test, this cool dude is Enzo, a Shepadoodle mix. He was born in January, 2021. He weighs about 45 pounds. He has a fun, funky, curly mohawk down his back. Enzo knows: Sit, down, heel, right & left turn, down at a distance, 'go to your crate', and other commands. He waits and makes eye contact for treats and his dinner. He knows tricks, too. He did very well in an Intro to Nosework class. Enzo is house trained and uses the dog door. He is also crate trained. He uses the crate to relax and sleep. Enzo is good with anyone kind and appropriate. The calm kids he's met have been able to give him treats for tricks or pets. On hikes and walks he gets a little shy of people approaching and just prefers some distance. He will get curious and want to sniff if new people direct their attention away from him. Treats are a great icebreaker for him. Enzo is good with other dogs. He loves to play and even shares toys with dogs, initiating tug games with them. Enzo loves fetching rope toys and floppy toys. He loves sharing his toys with his people and will find toys to bring to initiate a game. Enzo is good in the car in a crate and can get excited when he is going somewhere he likes. Enzo is good on leash and can be uncertain sometimes with new situations. A confident dog pal helps him see that it's all ok. Enzo is best on quiet streets and hikes, so being a city dog isn't the life for him. Enzo will thrive in a home that is fair, kind, and keeps him busy so he isn't bored. He is a happy, fun-loving young dog who is up for anything fun and loves to learn. He has a lot of potential as a fun adventuring/sporting companion. We see him living with a young active couple or family who have a yard to play in, can take him for hikes and make him a big part of their lives. Enzo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.

Story
I acquired Dexter from a friend. He is a spunky, loving, cuddly 8 year old dog. Dexter has a condition called cerebella hypoplasia . This affects his coordination and walking. He has the ability to use all of his legs however, he is unable to balance for long periods of time which results in a lot of rolling around. In spite of this he has the best spirit out of any dog I have ever been around. He knows his name when you call him, he can fetch (it may take him a little longer than other dogs to bring the ball back to you), and he is potty trained in doors. Dexter doesn't do a lot of walking on his own so he needs help to get to food, water, and to bring outside to go to the bathroom. Although he knows not to potty inside I use a diaper for him just in case for accidents. I know all of this sounds intimidating but he truly is the most loveable dog you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. This is not something I ever wanted to do but I currently do not have a choice.

Story
I am fostering a very sweet, affectionate, and playful young male, Husky mix, named Felix who was rescued from the Riverside County shelter in Jurupa Valley from the euthanasia list. Felix has some German Shepherd in him, and his coloring very much resembles a German Shepherd. Felix is very much like a Husky. He is very emotional and is vocal at times. He loves long walks, play time and chest rubs. He is very social and loves other dogs and people. Felix likes to try new things, has a great sense of humor and is fun at parties! This sweet boy needs a forever home. He has been neutered, all shots up to date and is microchipped. Please let me know if you are interested in adopting this very sweet and special boy.

Story
Onyx is half cocker spaniel (mom) mixed with rottweiler/German shepherd (dad) who was surrendered by his previous family at just 1 year old and came to me for fostering and will be 2 y.o. in March. Despite being neglected, he showed an incredible amount of spirit and resilience! After a full check-up with the vet, he was treated for fleas successfully, updated on his vaccines, and neutered. Previously an outdoor-only dog, Onyx has adjusted beautifully to indoor life—he’s now fully crate trained and potty trained. This social butterfly thrives on companionship and loves seeing his friends regularly at the dog park. While he’s not much of a barker, he has a playful and lively personality and would be thrilled to have a sibling or a pet parent who can keep up with his love for playdates. Onyx is the sweetest, smartest boy you’ll ever meet, with just a hint of mischief to keep things fun. He’s ready to find his furever family and fill their lives with joy and adventure!

Story
Kona is a 6 year old puppy. She enjoys going on walks and visiting a park. She loves having little kids in the house because she loves that they are the same size! She is incredibly cuddly, and if you kick your legs back you might find her rubbing her back under your legs like a cat. She is incredibly food motivated and has her basic training commands down. My family and I took her in my brother went to the military, but she needed more from us than we could provide. She is an amazing house dog and is EXTREMELY loyal. Kona loves a good hike and some push-ups, but is always ready to cuddle up on the bed with you. She likes going on random adventures, so she enjoys leaving the house with you to explore.
