Story
AKC Paperwork with proof of DOB is June 26,2021. We think she would be happiest living with no other dogs and only her humans. She just is dying for attention and love and is the sweetest girl with her people. But with other dogs she tends to get jealous of not having all the affection. The rescue has covered the cost of her spay, AKC microchip, harness, permanent reunification id tags, vaccinations Da2pp / rabies. She loves to play ball, go for walks, car rides and be snuggled. PLEASE NO CALLS OR TEXTS AS WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS, COMPLETE AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED: saveabowwow.com/rescue/adoption-form If listed, dog is available. Once dog is pending adoption, this page will reflect that information. Note: All breeds and ages are our veterinarians best educated guess (unless otherwise stated that our group has breeder paperwork) Medical notes: Spayed 9/14/23, DHPP 9/14/23, Rabies (3yr) done 9/14/23. Microchipped 9/14/23. Fine Print: -All of our French bulldogs must be walked with a harness (never on a neck collar). -The rescue requires adoptive family to obtain pet insurance for coverage of congenital and hereditary conditions. This is for any of the dogs in our rescue identified as a French Bulldog or a Frenchie Mix. Adoption will be finalized once the proof of pet insurance requirement is met. (There are some great policies ranging between $28-32 per month) -We have an open door policy and are always here to discuss anything that may arise with your adoptive pet. After an adoption is conducted please do not hesitate to reach out. -Please no texts or calls, apply if interested. -This breed generally speaking cannot swim and will sink like bowling balls so we do not adopt out to any homes with unfenced pools. -Fergie has had an altercation with another animal while in foster care. She’s been going through training with her foster mom and we have been now able to leave her unattended with other dogs. Where before we were concerned. Progress has certainly been made but we would prefer a no dog home for her -We have never introduced Fergie to children due to her jealous nature. However, she lived with children before coming to the rescue.

Story
Loves to be held in your arms. Attention starved prior to coming to rescue. She has mastered the doggy door LOVES to go in and out of the dog door all day long. She uses it to go to the restroom outside and is completely housebroken. Bonnie will go outside with her toy and throw it to herself for hours of self entertainment. She will happily give you her hamburger toy to throw. She sleeps in the human bed at night and loves to be the center of attention. She’s really enjoying being a house dog and doted on and would prefer someone that wants to hold her a lot, or let her lay on couch next to them. Bonnie lives with 2 male dogs (10 pounds, 4 pounds) and 1 female dog (20 pounds). Bonnie was Spayed 9/13/23, DHPP 9/13/23, Rabies (3yr) done 9/13/23. Microchipped. NOTE: Bonnie should go to a quiet mature home. Someone willing to give her a chance and allow her to decompress in a new environment will yield you a fabulous dog! Once she lets her guard down with you - its alllll love and snuggles and tossing of her favorite "hamburger" toy. She can be unpredictable at times with guests and people she doesn't know - (Baseball caps seem to trigger her into a barking fit and make her very nervous). She was previously abused so we would not adopt her out to a home with small/young children - She has been fostered with kids and did wonderfully with them; but they were old enough to respect boundaries and were more mature vs. rambunctious. She was fostered in a home while her primary foster family were on vacation and they had 3 small dogs and 1 German Shepherd (she was terrified of the German Shepherd) so small dogs are great but larger wont be a good fit. If you think you can be open minded to give her a fair shot, and allow a decompression period, you wont be disappointed! She isn't a run up to you and great you with kisses your first meet but with ample time (historically for her is 2-4 days) she will be a totally different dog and you will realize what gem she is! Once she likes you she will happily let you lay her on her back and hold her like a baby! These are funny, quirky, special little dogs that enjoy being with their human but tend to be lazy couch potatoes with bouts of “zoomies”.

BREEDER SURRENDER. DATE OF BIRTH 04/18/2023. Microchipped with AKC. Spayed. Pennt has had 3 sets of puppy shots and Rabies 1year vaccine. The rescue has covered the cost of her medical, harness and permanent reunification id tags. More about Pennys story and how she came to rescue; So penny is perfect in our eyes! Owner purchased from a breeder who is AKC registered for $$$$$$ but returned her back to breeder after having her 3 months because as she grew, her snout was “too long” and wasn’t pushed in enough so she didn’t look like a “Real Frenchie”. The beauty of this is she doesn’t have breathing issues like they normally have! We still haven’t heard her snore which is almost unheard of for the breed. Most need nares or BOAS surgery and because her snout is a little wider / longer she’s actually healthier. (For this reason, we have listed her as a Frenchton, which is a French Bulldog mixed with Boston Terrier even though she’s full Frenchie according to the AKC breeder we got her from) She’s been dewormed. She was eating victor brand food and likes nutro / blue buffalo also. She’s great with all the other dogs and with kids! She’s now learned the “sit” command. She is doing well with harness walks now but before didn’t know what a walk was. She doesn’t mind going to the vets and thinks it’s great to get all their attention. Doesn’t mind big nor small dogs. She’s smart but wasn’t loved and taught much prior so she’s being spoiled now! She knows the doggy door and is very playful. She needs active playful dogs as companions and she loves to go out and explore the yard throughout the day. A yard for her is a must because she really enjoys going outside to do zoomies, sunbathe and give the perimeter a once over. She will burry her toy under the blanket for later. And is obsessed with chasing the water hose. She looks forward to the water hose being turned on and she will run and jump to “catch” the water. Sometimes she will play in her water bowl. She has a humongous personality and is such a special, truly an awesome dog. While we have had a lot of applications for her, we believe she’s best suited not only with a yard but a younger dog friend to play with. She’s been 100% housetrained at her foster families home with use of the doggy door. She had potty pad experience before coming to rescue but she hasn’t used them since she learned the dog door. She knows how to use the pet stairs to climb up into bed with you at night. Story
Storm is a sweet girl, She is about 5 years old, weighs about 45lbs. Loves car rides and going on walks. She is mellow, enjoys cuddling by your side or just hanging out with you. She is crate trained snd sleeps all night in her crate. Does not dig, nor does she chew furniture. Does not react to cats or dogs on walks. She is well behaved and friendly with other dogs, even new dogs she has never met before, but can be possessive of her toys and food around dogs sometimes, for that reason it would be best she is only around dogs her size or by herself preferably. Unfortunately i have a 6lb chihuahua and they don’t get along but gets along with my other 9 month old husky.
