Story
Hello! My name is Louis and I am a 16-pound ten year old, male Bichon Frise mix. My family couldn't take care of me any longer and now I'm a very happy BROC boy! I love attention and would love a family with no children, that gives me lots of love and attention. I don't need another pup in my world, I'm happy to be an only pup that gets all your love. I'm very well behaved and know basic commands. I am a super sweet boy - smart and affectionate! I am loved and well-cared for with my foster family but I am looking for my forever home. I have had a thorough health examination, Im microchipped and I have already had a complete dental cleaning. If you have room in your heart and home for me, please complete an adoption application. https://bichonrescueoc.org/adoption-application Please visit our website www.bichonrescueoc.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Story
Hello! My name is Lila and I am 7 year old 9-pound female miniature Poodle mix. I am a sweet girl - smart and affectionate! I prefer to be the only pup in my home, I like to be the cednter of attention. I can get a bit possessive over my toys, so small children aren't the best for me. I love my human and will follow you around till you sit down so I can come up and cuddle. I do need daily eye drops and some other meds, but I am in good health. I am loved and well-cared for with my foster family but I am looking for my forever home. I have had a thorough health examination, Im microchipped and I will have a dental cleaning prior to adoption. SOFIA IS SPECIAL NEEDS AND IS IN NEED OF A SPONSOR. SHE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION Hello everyone, My name is Sofia and my personality is as big as my beautiful name. I'm a 9-year-old small 8-pound Bichon Frise mix. I am fun, loving and full of spirit! They call me a SPECIAL NEEDS PUP. I took a fall before becoming a BROC BABE and the doctors said I would NEVER walk again due to a spinal cord rupture. But my foster mom says I have the will to get wherever I want, nothing holds me back. My BROC Aunties got some custom wheels for me and you should see me run. I'm like a horse in its chariot, and I must say, I do look adorable. I take walks with and without my wheels, I walk with all my fur siblings and chase bunnies like no other but I need my wheels at times. My foster mom loves me and takes great care of me. I am still practicing walking and recovering and could use some help with my medical bills and daily needs. If youd like to sponsor me, please use the link below. Thank you! Story
We are reaching out to our Bichon-loving community with a special request on behalf of a very special pup. His name is Dexter, and he has been super happy in his current foster home, but now he needs a special person to be his Forever Foster. Let's tell you more about this happy-go-lucky little bundle of energy and joy. Dexter is seven years old and is a Maltese-poodle mix (who looks an awful lot like a Bichon, in our opinion!) Dexter was born with a neurological disorder that affects his equilibrium and his ability to walk--but he doesn't let that get him down! He's too smart for that...nothing stops him. BROC has equipped him with the latest and greatest doggie wheels, of course, and he's a champion driver--but even without his wheels he can scramble around the yard to chase his foster brother as well as any other dog. His technique might not win awards, but he doesn't care! He gets where he wants to go, with or without wheels. Speaking of "go"...Dexter is fully housebroken. All he needs is someone to take him to the potty place a few times a day (same as any other dog), and that is one of the reasons Dexter needs a special person. He can't get to the yard on his own, and it isn't safe for him to be alone out there anyway. Dexter's special person also would need to ensure Dexter's safety in the home. Being that Dexter is not so graceful (did we mention he doesn't care?) his person needs to make sure the home is safe--without things that could harm him if he were to, let's say, meet them head-on at cruising speed. His current foster mom created a large, enclosed "Dexter Den," with a big bed, his favorite toys, water of course, and plenty of space to move around. Dexter stays in his den when his foster mom needs to leave the house. When she's home, he can hang in his den or roam around. The bottom line is this: Apart from his neurological condition, Dexter is a very normal, healthy dog who is full of joy and very loving. Everyone he meets falls in love with him. He doesn't require a lot of special work, but he needs special help and attention...thus it takes a special person. If you have room in your heart and home for delightful Dexter, please complete the application on the BROC website. For the question asking "What Kind of Fostering Are You Interested In?" select the "Forever" option. Thank you! Story
Hi there! I'm Jujube, a young, sweet and friendly 18 lb pup. My days are filled with goofiness and laughter. I'm smart too. My energy knows no bounds, I love to play and run around. But don't worry, I know when it's time to settle down and give you all the cuddles you need. I'm a good listener, always ready to lend an ear when you've had a tough day. I'm more than just a shelter dog, I'm your future best friend. Adopt me and let's make wonderful memories together! I'm housebroken, I don't chew on furniture, I love fast walks and I get along with my foster fur siblings. I'm not great with cats, since I like to play chase with them and they don't like that game. I have had a thorough health examination, Im microchipped and I will have a dental cleaning prior to adoption. If you have room in your heart and home for me, please complete an adoption application. https://bichonrescueoc.org/adoption-application Please visit our website www.bichonrescueoc.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Story
My name is Kobe, and I am a 13 year old Lhasa Apso mix! I am everything you could ask for: I will let you know if I need to potty, and would never DARE to make our home dirty!! I am careful with what I step on, and my favorite part after doing business on a walk is going back to our home. I love sleeping and spend most of my time napping, and my dog dad says I snore gently - but it doesn't disturb anyone and everyone finds me endearing. I am hypoallergenic and do not shed, and don't have any underlying health conditions, but my eyes are getting a bit blurry due to my age, yet don't count me out for fun! I like to play tug of war and fetch. I am very versatile, and do well in all situations and environments: with people, pets, and in the car. Did I already say I really do like napping everywhere? I even respond well to commands and communicate back to you if I need anything, so you don't have to do any guesswork. I have been well loved throughout my life, having eaten great food, being fully vaccinated, and getting neutered. My idea of a perfect day is just being anywhere where I can hang out and see you!" I have had a thorough health examination, Im microchipped and I will have a dental cleaning prior to adoption. If you have room in your heart and home for me, please complete an adoption application. https://bichonrescueoc.org/adoption-application Please visit our website www.bichonrescueoc.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
