Story
Introducing Lucy!  She is a darling 3 year old mixed breed dog that was rescued because her owner's landlord changed the terms of their lease.   Lucy has really settled in nicely at her foster home. It's now time for her to find her "furever" home. Lucy is doing terrific at her foster home. Her foster parents say she is so loving, happy, and affectionate. Lucy sleeps in her crate peacefully at night. She even periodically takes herself to her crate during the day when she needs a little time to herself. Lucy loves going on walks and is walks nicely with a gentle leader. Lucy's favorite activities are cuddling on the sofa, zoomies in the backyard and playing (destroying) her toys. Those darn squeakers in her toys are just too irresistible!;-) Lucy will thrive in a home as an only dog with active people. She loves being outdoors and would be a great hiking companion. Her foster parents say that she is so smart and they are working on commands with her. Lucy is a great balance of an active, athletic dog and a goofy couch potato If Lucy sounds like the dog for you please complete an adoption application at roversretreat.org Lucy's adoption fee is $400 Questions can be sent to Danelle@roversretreat.org

Story
*PLEASE NOTE: The first step is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org * KC is ready for her furever family! We rescued this adorable girl, her 8 littermates and her mama off the streets a few weeks ago. Mom is a golden but dad is unknown. She is now 9 weeks old and can’t wait to meet her furever people. KC is full of playful energy and so much fun. She’s not afraid to tell the boys who’s boss and has some major diva energy going on. We just love her! KC would be best in a home with another dog so they can both be a great mentor and help to put her in her place when her diva tendencies go a little too far. She is incredibly smart and already knows sit! She would participate in puppy school all day if you let her. She loves her snacks! This lil cutie is going to be a fantastic addition to the right family. She is goofy, cuddly and has the biggest personality! If you’re interested in adopting KC please head our website to complete an adoption application! roversretreat.org *PLEASE NOTE: KC is being fostered in Torrance and her adoption fee is $600*

PLEASE NOTE: The first step in the process is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org Meet Libby! Libby came to us a few weeks ago with her brother and dad. She is a precious 6 month old maltipoo mix. Libby is the sweetest little girl who, like her brother, is very people focused and attached at the hip. She is very much a velcro, lap dog. She will follow you everywhere she is working through some separation anxiety. She can coexist well with other dogs and cats with the right support and has been playing more and more with the other dogs as she has settled in. Libby is initially timid and a bit afraid of the world. She would do best in a home with someone around a lot to help her gain confidence and continue with slow exposure and positive experiences with new people and things. If you’re interested in adopting Libby please complete an application on our website roversretreat.org ! PLEASE NOTE: Libby is being fostered in Long Beach and her adoption fee is $600
