Story
This compact love bug and velcro puppy is Morty. Before we get into all the great things about Morty the one thing he will need is a more quiet home, less traffic and no other pets/dogs. He gets a little over stimulated when there is a lot going on around him. He is very smart so with some training this is something that he could for sure grow out of.  Besides that he really is an easy typical dog! He seeks adventure buddies and is curious and joyful. Affectionate, loyal, and spunky, this low-rider craves a lap to wiggle in, faces to kiss, and all the squeaky toys to fetch and playing with dog friends. At approximately 1 year old and 40lbs, he’s a playful puppy. He’s house trained and can be crated, though he prefers to be with his people best. Scoop up this adorable little low rider boy with soulful eyes and ears with a language all their own, and you are guaranteed a best friend for life! Pictures do not do him justice long body short legs equal adorable!! Apply www.4paws4rescue.comJanuary 21, 2025, 4:48 pm

Story
Our sweet Penny girl is still searching for her forever person. Originally adopted from us as a puppy, Penny has found her way back to us after several years and is now ready for a fresh start with a loving family. Penny is about 4.5 years old, around 30 lbs, and has so much potential. She’s a special girl who will need an equally special home. Due to a lack of early socialization, Penny is nervous and skittish around new people and will need time to build trust. However, with patience and understanding, she can blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Penny has had some training and knows several basic commands, but we strongly recommend that her future family continues her training to help her gain confidence and thrive in her new environment. She has shown that she prefers to be the only dog in the home and would do best in a quiet, adult-only household with minimal visitors. To ensure her safety, Penny will need a privacy fence or to be leash-walked, as we’ve been told she can climb fences! Penny has made amazing progress with her foster mom, and we believe the perfect family is out there for her. We know she has specific needs, but we are true believers that every dog has a match—it just sometimes takes a little longer to find them. Could you or someone you know be Penny’s forever person? Please put in an application at 4paws4rescue.com for consideration.December 28, 2024, 12:55 pm

Story
Queenie is approximately 2 1/2 years old. She has the sweetest curly-q tail and the perfect pink with black spotted toe beans. She is high energy and loves to play. She knows some commands and is quick to learn more. Queenie is loyal and eager to please her people. She gives the best snuggles. Queenie's favorite game is fetch and she actually brings the ball back. She needs a home that can meet her energy level. She definitely has an instinct for herding small critters. She is a bit timid at times and startles easily when touched from behind. She will need time to adjust to her new home. Her experiences while a puppy are unknown.

Story
Yesterday marked Rosie's 1 year anniversary being with us. That's 365 days she's waited for a forever home. Although her foster mom loves her she'd love even more Rosie finding her family. Please share our sweet girl! Rosie is a 4-5 year old boxer/pittie mix who is as sweet as they come. She loves all people and especially adores children. She would do best as an only pet and will offer unconditional love, greetings with toys, and tail wags. She’s completely house trained, never having a single accident since rescued, just an all around great girl. If you’re looking to add an incredibly loving pup to your home please fill out an application. Apply at www.4paws4rescue.comDecember 15, 2024, 5:52 pm

Story
Meet Birdie! This sweet girl hasn't had the easiest of life but that doesn't stop her from loving everyone and everything. She was found as a stray with a horrible neck injury from an embedded collar. Her neck is almost 100% healed and she's ready to start the next chapter of her life! What we know about Birdie.....we think her to be a little over 1yr old, 45 lbs, mix unknown but could be Heeler or Border Collie or Pointer mix are best guesses. She's housebroken and crate trained, sleeps with her foster mom all night and does great. Good with other dogs, playful, LOVES loves toys and the absolute sweetest. She does need to learn some basic manners but she's already doing so much better in her foster home! Let's find Birdie a home so she can finally know what it's like to have a family!
