Story
Marmaduke is a sweet, loving, super chill St. Bernard, about 5 yrs old who came to us from a horrific hoarding situation. Marmaduke is a friendly and lazy dog who loves everyone he meets. He loves snuggling with his people and would be perfectly happy lounging around, getting belly rubs and being loved! He is a great sleeper and prefers to sleep on the floor next to his people. He has really missed having human connection so plan on him being by your side! He really thinks getting pets and hugs are the best! Marmaduke does require a fenced yard (no electric fences). He needs access to the outdoors where he can be contained in a safe environment where he won’t be able to wander off. He is not apartment appropriate as he weights 123 lbs and would certainly be over a weight limit! Marmaduke does love other dogs so a fur friend would be wonderful for him. He loves the company of other dogs so he’d love a friend to play with and snuggle. Marmaduke doesn’t know what toys belong to humans and what he’s allowed to play with. Toys are very new to him. Because of this, older kids who are not still playing with stuffed animals and toys would be fine for him. He’s a really sweet, loving, happy boy who has really acclimated well to being an inside, family dog! If you can provide Marmaduke the home with a fenced yard, lots of love and walks every now and then, please apply to meet him at www.luckychancerescue.com/adoption-aplication PLEASE NOTE: We do not do out of state adoptions. You must apply on our website if you'd like to meet Marmaduke. July 10, 2024, 4:10 pm

Story
My name is Brumer and I’m looking for my forever home. I love to do zoomies, play tug o' war, and play fetch so a fenced yard would be ideal for me. I would love a family that has another dog as I love playing and cuddling with my foster sisters. I am also really happy cuddling with my people, and curling up on the couch with a good chew toy at night. I am very smart and already know how to sit like a good boy and shake; and I'm doing really good learning to go potty outside. I’m very food and treat motivated, especially peanut butter; so continuing to work on training will be a breeze! I'm still a young puppy and would love an active family with older kids and fur friends to call my own. If you are looking for an amazing puppy I am your boy! You can apply here to meet me! www.luckychancerescue.com/adoption-applicationJuly 10, 2024, 4:10 pm

Story
Otis is a 7 month old sweet, cuddly and goofy boy!! He is so loving that his foster family hoped to adopt him, but circumstances changed. Now Otis is is on the lookout for his forever home. Otis is a bundle of cuddles and playful energy. While Otis enjoys playing with other dogs, he prefers the company of female dogs, and would thrive with a female dog companion. Don't have another dog? That's okay too! He'd be fine as an only dog getting all the attention and cuddles from his humans. Otis is great with kids but a super busy house is too overwhelming for him. Too many people (kids) coming and going, make him a little too hyper so a quiet home would be perfect for him. At almost 7 months old, Otis is a smart cookie who's mastered sitting and is diligently working on stay and leave it. He's crate-trained and sleeps through the night, although he wouldn't mind snuggling up in bed with his family. With a love for romping in the yard and leisurely exploring, Otis is the perfect play buddy. Due to his fence jumping skills, he needs a six-foot fence or supervision and boundary training to keep his adventurous spirit in check. He can easily jump a 4 foot fence if no one is keeping an eye on him! Walks are a favorite activity especially when stick collecting is involved! If you are looking for a playful, active, yet cuddly best friend, look no further, Otis is your boy!! Apply to meet him at: www.LuckyChanceRescue.com/adoption-application. He will love to meet you!July 10, 2024, 4:10 pm
