Story
Jack is my name and fun is my game. I will dearly love my people and protect them from Amazon delivery people. I love car rides and will protect you at stoplights if someone is rude to you.I know sit, down, paw, leave it, and ZoomZoom with gusto. It would be best if I am only dog and no pesky cats to tease me. I am house and crate trained. I promise to be an amazing staffie that has swagger. I am not perfect but I will love you with all my heart.

Story
Meet Libby! She has been at PAC since 4/14/23. She was found on an exit ramp, it was evident she was no longer needed to produce puppies. After arriving to the shelter, the staff learned Libby was very unsocialized around humans and being indoors.Libby was shy but she would let you pet her after she gets more comfortable. She would take a treat and takes it very gently. Libby is nervous around fast movements but she does well with calm children. She waited 92 days to find her amazing foster. Her foster mom thinks she is about 7 years old.Her foster mom found out that Libby:She loves belly rubsShe walks well on a leash She likes for you to keep her company when she eats and pottiesShe minds wellShe is medium energy. She would do best with smaller dogs. She does well with cats. When she gets to be too much for them. She listens to `No` very well.200+ days later Libby is still available for adoption. So PAC Staff decided it was best for Libby to be seen at the shelter. No one asked about Libby while she was in foster :(.. All she is looking for is a loving, patient home who would take leisurely walks for fun! Come see Libby, she has been waiting a while for you to find her! :)

Story
Who remembers CiCi from our very own County AC? She was there a WHOLE year :( Over time developed stranger danger-meaning she was wary of new people, unsure if she could trust them. HOWEVER, after months with our trainer she has BLOSSOMED and quickly makes new friends with proper intros (outside with treats :) ). Thanks to our wonderful trainer she is: house trained, crate trained, and knows her basic commands. She is a master of: fetch, sunbathing, cuddles, and always greeting you with a toy and a tail wag when you come home

Story
Our trainer met Sunny while she was on a straycation from County, fell in love and has been working with her ever since while she waits on a FOSTER or ADOPTER to call her own...could it be you? About smart Sunny Sue: 3ish year old pitty mix, shirt and thicc and has already learned "sit, "wait, and the release word "go!. We discovered she has a secret agility talent she LOVES obstacle courses. She will wait patiently to be leashed up and for her kennel to open. Sunny is potty, crate, and leash trained, and older kiddo friendly (hasn't been around youngins to know) She loves to bounce on her cot and her tail is ALWAYS wagging Sunny seems to want to play with other dogs, but doesn't know if they want to play with her so she needs slower introductions or to be the center of your world. Don't worry, she will provide you with more than enough love

Jibbitz loves everyone and he'd love to meet YOU! Is your dog looking for a dog? Jibbitz is your guy! Currently he lives with 4 other dogs and a 10yr old. Seriously he could get along with a brick wall About Jibbitz: an 11 month old whippet mix ~ 50lb that LOVES to play with his dog friends! He spent most of his life in a shelter but is blossoming in foster care and learning how to house dog quickly. He is crate trained, 100% potty trained, and can also be left alone without being destructive like the good boy he is. He had already learned "sit, "drop, and loves to snuggle up as close as possible. Jibby is eager to please and would make a fantastic addition to your home.
