Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
When I got her I was told she was potty trained the lady said she could not keep her and she was beautiful. I was also told she was good with other pets. She was neither potty trained nor good with other animals. I was told she has seperation anxiety and would need to be in a kennel while not home because she chews on things. I figured not a big deal because she was less than 2 years old. She just turned 2. About a month ago she became aggressive with my older little dog. She attacked her and now my little dog only has one eye. Could have been the the eye was just scratched or hit by a tooth. I have no idea about little people it took her a few hours to warm up to my 16 year old when he caame for the weekend. My little dog and 2 cats whom she never messed with run from her and are scared and she lives in the kennel except when I take her outside to go to the bathroom, eat and drink. She has always been sweet as pie to me. She barks a lot when people walk by or knock.

Story
Hello, I took Montana in due to his prior owner facing eviction. It was supposed to be temporary and have not had luck finding a home. I have another dog in the house that is mine and has become aggressive towards him and he spends most of his time crated which is not fair to him. He loves cuddles and is good with children, currently is dog-sat by a woman with a 2 year old but I cannot afford to bring him to daycare often! Will eat gently from your hand and has no food aggression.

Story
Honey's success story has been a long and winding journey — from being a pregnant, feral dog running wild in rural Mississippi, to being cared for by a loving young woman who undertook a frantic search to find a rescue that would receive and treat a heartworm positive dog. And Pet the Pet Program said yes. After three months of treatment, this incredible dog has received the "all clear" from her veterinarian and we are offering her for adoption. Honey is a 50-lb spayed female, up-to-date on vaccinations, and is about 1.5-2 years old. She is a loving, loyal, comical, and sweet girl with a little bit of attitude. Honey is crate trained, housetrained, and walks on a lead nicely. She is dog friendly and playful with both dogs and humans. Honey will need a home where there is another dog for company — she is calm when there is another dog present but has separation issues when left alone. Honey has a strong prey drive and therefore needs to be in a cat-free household. She is extremely athletic and able to clear a 4-ft fence without difficulty so she will need an enclosure that is escape proof when out of doors. She would make a super sport dog with her athleticism. Despite her rough early months, Honey’s temperament is one of kindness and love. She endured her painful heartworm treatments without reacting aggressively toward anyone working with her. She is still a bit reserved with new people, but warms up to women quickly. Honey's adoption fee is $400.00 and includes her spay, vaccinations, and deworming. Our adoption procedure for an approved application requires a telephone interview, meet/greet, home visit, and vet reference. We limit our adoptions to a 50-mile radius of Ithaca, NY. For an online adoption application, please email Pet the Pet Program at reverence@ottcmail.com. If you contact us and have not received a response within 24 hours, please check your spam. We are NYS Rescue049.

Story
Our shy, timid mutt girl. She’s a gentle soul who can be a bit anxious at times, but once she warms up to you, she’s incredibly sweet and loyal. She’ll need a patient and understanding home, preferably one that is calm and quiet, where she can feel safe and loved. She does well with other dogs but would need some time and space to adjust.

Story
Cash is an almost 2 year old pure bred Golden Retriever. He is extremely loving, caring, and just a wonderful dog all around. Unfortunately due to some out of nowhere allergies within the family, we are going to have to rehome him. He is the sweetest dog and is AKC certified.
