Story
Zena is a loving girl, who loves snuggles, down time, and running around in a big yard :) She is great with kids and other dogs, though if there is a dog or cat off in the distance, she can get very excited, and wound up, though she just wants to play. She does great at dog parks and has never had an issue. She has done well with cats in the house that she knows, but sometimes can get a bit too playful. She loves all younger kids and children, but gets excited, and may be eager to play. I would love nothing more than to see her in a good home with happy loving people that can care for her. Unfortunately I will soon be relocating for work, and have a busy schedule, so it would be best for her to be with a family that can spend more time with her. Reach out with any questions. I am not asking for any fee for her, so long as she is in good hands, I’m plenty happy. She really is a special girl :)

It is with a heavy heart that I make this post. I need to find a great home for my Pitsky SuperNova. She is house broken, crate trained, comes with crate, food, training collar, toys, ect. I have to have back surgery and won't be able to care for her like I need to. She is great with kids, loves car rides and doesn't bark. She loves balls, and outdoors.

Story
We took Stella in last November from someone who was allergic to her, at the time she was estinated to be 14wks old. Now shes about a year old. Up to date with shots and has a microchip. She is not fixed. We'd love to keep her but she is becoming aggressive with our older dog, she'll have to go to a home where she is the only pet. When she is not pushing the older dog out of our attention, Stella is a sweetheart. She loves to curl up with you on the couch. Plays tug of war with my son, and the other dog when they are getting along. She is crate trained, she's in kennel while we're at work and when we go to bed. She is a chewer when left unattended. With the right owner and being the only pet Stella will thrive and be a great companion.

Story
EVERY DOG DESERVES A LOVING HOME!  We want nothing more for Warrior than for him to have his chance at his own home.  This dog is the sweetest soul and has been waiting an eterinity (in dog years) for someone to give him a chance.  Warrior is estimated to be 5 years old.  3 years of his life have been spent in boarding - 1 with a vet and 2 with our special connection in Louisiana.  Before Warrior went into boarding, he was living a life on a chain in horrible conditions. A boarding facility is better than that, but it is still not a HOME.  Warrior is neutered, potty trained and crate trained.  He is dog social, but we are suggesting female dogs due to his past.  He is playful at times, but may prefer to just lay next to you. (While snoring away!). If you are looking for a snuggle buddy, Warrior is your dog!  He loves attention, snuggles and sleeping with you in bed!  He is always smiling and is just the greatest dog!  He just needs someone to see that in him!  We would recommend older children in the home just due to the size and strength of Warrior.  Not only did Warrior survive heart worm disease and treatment, he also had a dental cleaning done!  Please consider giving this boy the life he deserves!  Warrior's adoption fee is $275 which goes towards transportation fees and costs of fostering.  (The second picture of him shows a side by side of what Warrior looked like in his horrible living conditions and what he looks like now.) ##1797383##

Story
COURTESY LISTINGLooking for a furry friend who embodies the spirit of adventure? Meet Melody, the adorable and spirited Transylvanian Hound (or maybe a Black and Tan Coonhound) looking for her forever home! At 3 years old and 60 lbs, Melody is bursting with energy, intelligence, and love. She's searching for a family who understands hound traits and can provide her with the active and engaging lifestyle she craves. Melody is a clever girl who loves playing games, especially searching for hidden toys. She already knows the command "sit" and will impress you with her obedience. When it's time to unwind, she's happy to relax with her plush toy trying to find the squeaker and keeping herself entertained. Melody is a great companion for outdoor adventures and long walks. She adores being outside and will accompany you on every exploration. While she enjoys her high-energy activities, she can also settle down and cuddle up, ready for some quality time on the couch. Melody has great house manners and is house trained and crate trained. She sleeps soundly in her crate, making bedtime a breeze. Car rides are a joy for her, and she'll eagerly join you. Melody is not a fan of cats due to her prey drive and would probably do best as the only pet in her home. She loves children and is friendly with strangers, showing her affectionate nature to everyone she meets. Like most hounds, Melody is strong on the leash. She requires an owner who can handle her strength and provide the guidance she needs. She's ready to bring her zest for life and infectious happiness into your home. Don't miss out on the opportunity to share your adventures with this special hound dog, Miss Melody! Apply to adopt today. This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for Melody. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply.  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. July 15, 2024, 9:33 am
