Story
Wyatt is a goofy, happy 2 year old! He is a large guy weighing in over 100 pounds, but he thinks he is the perfect lap size. He loves getting all the attention and belly rubs. Due to spinal cord disease Wyatt has urinary incontinence and wears a belly band. He also was born with congenital deformities on his hind legs, causing him to have limited mobility. He has a custom-fitted wheelchair that he likes to use when he goes for walks. Despite his physical limitations, Wyatt doesn't let anything dampen his spirits. He loves life and is happy just to be with people anywhere he is. If you would like to meet Wyatt please contact vpape@lollypop.org

Story
Allow me to introduce Mr. Clint! He may only have one eye, but Clint can see a future with you! Clint is an incredibly loyal, snuggly, one-of-a-kind boy who makes an amazing companion! Clint dreams of finding a home with adults who can cherish him as their one and only furry friend. Clint loves sunbathing (who doesn't) and would love to keep you company while enjoying the sun... but also has no problem spending his days cuddling and relaxing. He is truly the best of both worlds; an adventurer and a comforting presence. If you would like to learn more about Clint and scheduling a time to meet him, please email amartin@lollypop.org!

Story
3-year-old Honey sure is sweet! She is a fun gal who loves playing with toys, especially ones that squeak! She can entertain herself for a long time just lying down with a nice chew toy. This lady is house-trained and working on crate training. She would also love to do some positive reinforcement training with you to learn even more! Honey has been on a few adoption sleepovers that weren't quite right for her - we've learned that she doesn't seem to be a big fan of other animals or small children. We recommend that any kids in the family are 12 and up, and that Honey is the only pet in the home. This lucky girl has mostly been staying in a foster home while she searches for her furever home, and her foster mom says she's she's settling in nicely. She loves spending as much time as she can with her foster parents, so we think she'd thrive in a home where someone's around most of the time. Do you work from home? Honey would love to be your four-legged assistant. She enjoys her walks, and isn't even fazed by loud distractions like lawn mowers and sirens. Though she's not crate-trained yet, she's started voluntarily walking in and spending a few minutes there. Bottom line: Her foster mom says she's "really a sweetheart" and would love to make arrangements for you to meet her. Honey will be at the shelter until 7/21/2024 while her foster family is on vacation. Come in to meet her today!

Story
Romeo will make you believe in love at first sight - just look at that smile! Romeo is an energetic 4-year-old in search of an active person or family to have fun with. True to his name, Romeo is a lover! Leaning into some nice pets is his favorite way to relax. This smart boy already knows "sit" and is excited to learn more with you through positive reinforcement training! Romeo would prefer his humans to be ages 12 and up. He has lived with other dogs and has also done well on playdates with them! We'll have you bring any dogs in your household to Lollypop Farm for a date with this dashing young man to see if it's true love. Romeo would rather not live with cats or small animals - he's seeking dedicated dog people! When he isn't loving up on his shelter friends, Romeo can be found participating in our Doggy Day Out program-- with many of our regular human participants requesting him by name! He is great in the car and loves a good stroll through the park. If Romeo sounds like your soulmate, please come meet him soon!

Story
Roxy came to us here at Lollypop Farm after her original family had to rehome her with a friend, who then found themselves unable to care for her as she deserved and asked us to find her a new - and hopefully forever - home. Despite all that moving around, Roxy is a social girl who enjoys treats and playing - fetch is her favorite game - and would love to find a new family to cherish her. Speaking of family, we think any children in her new home should be at least twelve years old. We'd like to introduce her to the whole family here at the shelter to make sure everyone starts off on the same page. She has a good history of socializing with other dogs, so if you have a dog (or dogs) at home, we'd like to introduce them here, too. That way we can make sure everyone's energy levels and play styles are a good match. She's not interested in having any feline family members, though. Roxy walks well on a leash, and she already knows how to sit and come when asked. Training - positive reinforcement, of course - is a great way to bond with a new dog, so you can have a great time teaching her more commands and maybe even some tricks. Since she's a high-energy dog, she might be a good candidate to learn advanced skills - like agility or nosework - that will work her mind as well as her muscles. Everyone who meets Roxy describes her as very sweet, so we're hoping you'd like to find out for yourself just how sweet she is. She and our other available dogs would love to meet you, so why not take a chance on this lovely lady? As an added bonus, her adoption fee has been sponsored which means she is free! If you would like to meet Roxy, please email Nicole at nratliff@lollypop.org!

Story
Cosmo Peachlocks is one of several dogs who came to Lollypop Farm together and is now looking for a perfect home to start his next chapter in life. In fact, we're pretty sure he's crossing his paws that home might be yours. For Cosmo Peachlocks the world and everything in it is still brand new and sometimes even a bit overwhelming. That includes new people, so be prepared to go slow, let him set the pace, and be waiting with soft praise and tasty treats to reward every step. The old saying that good things come to those who wait is true when it comes to Cosmo. When he finally offers you his love and trust, and welcomes - even asks for - your touch, you're going to feel on top of the world. We think Cosmo Peachlocks will do best in a quieter home with either adults only or older children who are able to let him settle in without the enthusiastic attention younger children are generally eager to show a new pet. A fenced yard would be great, giving him a safe space to hang out with the family and take everything in, joining the fun when he's ready. In his previous home Cosmo lived with lots of other dogs and felt very comfortable with them. In fact, if you already have a dog at home that's a big plus, because a canine companion will be a good confidence builder. Your counselor can give you guidance on how to introduce them. Once they become comfortable together, your dog will help Cosmo get used to his new home and family, and even help him learn the simple pleasure of walking on a leash by demonstrating how it's done and why it's fun. There were no cats in Cosmo's previous home, but his housemates who've gone to their new homes have done well with their new cat siblings. If you have a cat or several, your counselor can give you great tips for handling inter-species intros once you're home. Before he goes home we'll do a meet'n'greet with the whole family here at the shelter to make sure everyone's starting off on the right foot. And once you're all home together, we'll be here to cheer you on and answer any questions as you help Cosmo learn the joys of a home and family of his own. So come on out to see us! Cosmo Peachlocks and all our other available dogs would love to meet you.
