Hi, I'm Mia! I’m thrilled to have joined the Underdog family on May 4th! I was picked up by the City shelter in early April, and while I enjoyed doggy playgroup, being in a home is so much better! My DNA test shows that I’m 51% Rottweiler, 25% Boerboel, and 24% Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff), and I have a soft, velvety coat that’s as beautiful as it is cuddly. I’m about 55 lbs and was given a birthday of 10/5/22. I’ve already completed a 4-session training course for adolescent dogs, and I’m currently working through another one—I love learning new things! I walk well on a leash, know sit, paw, and lie down, and I’m fully housebroken. I sleep through the night, either in my crate or outside it, and I often retreat there just to relax. Playing fetch is one of my favorite things to do (especially in the snow!), and I’ve even been known to fall asleep with a ball in my mouth. I love to go on runs with my foster mom a few times a week. I am super playful so I’d be thrilled to have another dog to play with in my forever home!! Hi there I’m Eggo! And I am indeed NOT a waffle, just a big lovable guy I am a 76 pound 2 year old pit bull mix, but most importantly I’m just a baby! I'm a big, gentle baby most of the time, but do like to play with my more energetic foster siblings. If they get rowdy and make noise, I do tend to bark to let them know I'm here and bring a toy or blanket as a peace offering so they will stop "fighting" I love to curl up with one of my many fleece throw blanket (and in front of the fire if there's room available) for most of my days. I definitely know when to let my foster siblings have their space, but if they're napping, I'll curl up next to them in a cuddle puddle. I love fresh fruits and veggies, especially peas , carrots, and the occasional blueberry or strawberry. I'm a fiend for peanut butter and I can hear the sound of a whipped cream can from multiple rooms away. I am potty and crate trained with no accidents in the house or pen while being with my foster parents. I appreciate an incentive snack to enter my crate, but I'm getting better at going in on my own! I sleep well through the night in my crate and like to greet my foster parents with a very "biiiiiigggggg stretch" every morning.
