You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet as her name, Strawberry is ready for her new home!  Strawberry is a 2 year old Shiba Inu that was recently released from a breeder.     Strawberry is a beautiful girl! She is smart and is already adjusting well to her foster home. She loves being outside and is eager to explore the yard or relax in the fall sunshine. Strawberry gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another dog for companionship and learning.   She is making good progress with her housetraining and has had only a few accidents. Although she is not yet leash trained, she is working on it. At this stage, she will need a fully fenced yard. Strawberry is very intelligent and is curious about what lies beyond the gate and door.    She is food motivated and particularly enjoys her treats, especially cheese. Once she gets to know her people, she becomes affectionate and eager to please! Strawberry is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $500Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 3:47 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Happy Harvest, affectionately known as Harvey or Santa's Little Helper! This sweet and playful guy is ready to find his forever home. Harvest is a charming mix of who knows what, giving him a unique style—his ears are adorable and quite the conversation starter, and he sports a fun little tail that will surely make you smile!  He is listed as a lab mix on his paperwork but we don't know about that.  At just 1 year old and weighing 25 pounds, he’s the perfect size for cuddles and adventures. Harvey is a sweet dog who made the journey to us from Texas, and he's adjusting wonderfully to the snow and cold! He has a blast running and playing in it! Currently, he enjoys the comfort of a fully fenced yard at his foster home, so he'll need one in his forever home too due to not being leash trained.  While Harvey isn't quite leash trained yet and wasn't thrilled when we tried to work on that, it's a skill that can be developed with love and patience. The good news is that he’s crate trained! Harvey gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and loves to snuggle up with them for cozy naps. We haven't had the chance to see how he interacts with kids, but we’re optimistic that he would do just fine!  With his playful spirit and eagerness to please, we just know that Harvey will bring so much joy to the right family! Harvey is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $450Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 2, 2024, 4:47 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jackie is ready to find her new home! She is a 6-year-old Shih Tzu who was recently surrendered by a breeder. Jackie has finished having puppies and is now excited to start her life as a pet. We can't wait to see what the future holds for her! Jackie is a calm and laid-back girl who loves to sleep the day away on her cozy bed, often cuddling with a buddy. She occasionally has spurts of playfulness with the dogs and enjoys joining in their fun. Jackie is progressing well with her housetraining and will use pee pads if necessary. In her foster home, she has access to a fully fenced yard, which is very helpful. We are currently working on her leash skills, and she is responding well to training. However, Jackie does not like being in a crate and will bark if she is confined for too long. She did well with the kids at our recent event, and as long as they are respectful towards her, there should be no issues. Occasionally, she may bark at the cats in her foster home, but that's the extent of her interactions with them.   Jackie will require grooming throughout her life so please keep that in mind if you are considering adopting her. Jackie is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She has also been professionally groomed.  Her adoption fee is $475  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2024, 10:45 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our boy Alfie is available for adoption! He is a  month old Shiba Inu/Boston Terrier/Pug mix and weighs 25 pounds. He is a nice medium size dog.  Alfie is a breeder release so that may explain his unusual breed mix - they are always looking for the new "designer" breed or it was a total accident! Alfie has really blossomed in his foster home, and we can't wait to see him thrive in his forever home! He’s picking up on the basics quickly. He LOVES to be outside, regardless of the weather and is always the last one in the house. He’s doing fantastic with his housetraining too—just a couple of little accidents so far. With a fully fenced yard at his foster home, he absolutely loves to run around and play!   Alfieis great with other dogs and is fine with the cats in his foster home, too. He’s also getting the hang of walking on a leash but needs some additional training! He is crate trained also.    This playful pup is a fan of toys and chewies, and true to his Shiba Inu nature, he’s curious about everything around him but listens well. He might be a bit shy at first, but once he settles in and gets to know you, he turns into a friendly and loving companion. Alfie is ready to bring joy and fun into your life! Alfie is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $450Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 24, 2024, 9:11 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pepper Jack is one of a litter of puppies that recently came from Texas, where they were found living on the streets and struggling to survive. They are approximately 7 months old. Pepper Jack is unique among the litter, as he is the only one with a smooth coat! All the pups are happy little furballs just looking for love! They’re playful, loving, and bursting with energy. You’ll often find them snuggled up close to their foster family or their furry friends, trying to stay warm.    These little cuties are crate-trained, but they still need to learn how to walk on a leash. They’re making great progress with their potty training, but they’ll need some extra help in their forever home, so be prepared for a few accidents as they learn the ropes. They have a fully fenced yard at their foster home, which makes playtime super fun! They love being outside, even as they get used to the Buffalo weather.  Other than barking, they are fine with cats, and we believe they will do well with kids!    Since they're still just pups, they’ll need some training in their forever homes. But one thing is for sure: they’re sweet, loving, and full of personality! Pepper Jack is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.
