MEET EMERY AT OUR INTERBAY PETCO ADOPTION EVENT ON MARCH 1, 2025 FROM 11-2 PM With his snow-white coat and warm heart, Emery is the perfect blend of beauty and love. If you`re looking for a loyal, loving, and goofy companion who will brighten your days, Emery might just be the perfect match for you. Emery is a cuddle champion who adores being by your side. He`ll happily follow you around the house and settle in whatever room you`re in. With a gentle and sweet disposition, Emery loves to play but remains calm and careful. He`s eager to please and absolutely loves snuggling up with his humans. Emery is house-trained, and loves mastering new tricks. He`s an excellent running buddy, but is just as happy to go for a leisurely walk. He can get spooked by sudden noises and sometimes pulls on the leash, but has been very responsive to leash training. Emery`s biggest area for growth is his confidence, and he struggles with separation anxiety. We believe Emery would flourish in a family where someone works from home, or has a calm dog companion to show him the ropes. Are you ready to give this sweet boy the home he deserves? Reach out to meet Emery today! The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Story
Meet Huckleberry Yam! This gorgeous little pup is only about 2 months old and was found wandering in the cold. She is safe in a foster home and is doing so well! She is very smart and trainable.  We think, based on her look, that she is most likely a Husky mix. This breed is not for everyone! Huskies are very active dogs and need a bit of elbow room and lots of interaction. They are not couch potatoes. She is not a purebred by any means but we are unsure what she may be mixed with. We would love to see Huckleberry with an active family, who enjoy bringing their dog on adventures and who are committed to training and socialization. Huckleberry is only a baby so she still has lots of learning to do, but this is a great opportunity to teach her and help her grown into a great canine citizen.  Huckleberry will be vaccinated, chipped and dewormed. She will be spayed between 8-12 months of age at our cost. Her adoption fee is $525. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Hi, I'm Eureka, a 10-year-old Siberian Husky, but you wouldn't know it unless I told you! I've got plenty of energy left, especially when there's snow around-my zoomies are unmatched while frolicking in the snow! I did recently lose an eye due to glaucoma, but that hasn't slowed me down one bit-I still love doing all my favorite things! I'm a real treat connoisseur, taking them gently from your hand. Toys aren't really my thing; I prefer spending time with my people and getting my daily enrichment from you. Whether we're out and about or just hanging around, I'm happiest when I'm by your side. If you're looking for a fluffy, fun companion, I might just be your guy! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 43.8 Age: 10yrs 1mths 2wks
