Story
Animal Profile: Buck is an estimated 8 month old male husky mix who is social and friendly with people and dogs.  Foster Update: Handsome? Yes! Smart? Wicked smart! Up for adventure? Always! Buck is playful and eager to engage with everyone he meets. He’s top dog of the puppy pack and loves to run, wrestle and play. Buck has a great start on his crate training, walks well on leash, and is doing great with potty training on a consistent schedule. He loves other dogs, and would probably enjoy having a resident dog to play with, but it’s not a requirement. Buck is dog friendly and does well around horses as well. He’s going to be an incredible addition to the right active family. Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes her spay, Rabies, 1st DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: These puppies were being given away at a fruit stand as they were an accidental litter.  They are being fostered in the greater Seattle area (Oakville) and are now available for adoption.August 19, 2024, 12:18 am

Story
Animal Profile: Aspen is an estimated 1.5 to 2-year-old 45 lb female Husky who was picked up as a stray in San Bernardino after being hit by a car and suffering a broken pelvis. During her recovery she went into surprise labor and required a c-section. Three puppies survived. She has been a great momma and is super sweet and affectionate with people. We will share more info as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Aspen is suuuch a sweet Husky! She loves everyone she meets and is so affectionate, always wants pets. She is a great mama to her puppies and likes to play with them and also keeps them in line. She is potty trained and walks well on leash. She does exhibit some prey drive so a house without cats or other small animals would be best for her. Since her pups have now been adopted she has found a love of playing with other pups and gets along well with other dogs. We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard(Huskies are escape artist's, Aspen can clear/climb a 4.5ft fence), breed  experience is a plus.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from San Bernardino city shelter in California in February by one of our rescue partners; she was transferred to Dog Gone Seattle with her three 4-week-old puppies arriving to Seattle area foster care on 05/5/24. She will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.August 19, 2024, 12:18 am

This 1-year-old Husky is full of bouncy energy and ready to live a life of hiking, running, exploring, and playing. Kenai is looking for breed experienced adopters who can give him all the daily exercise and enrichment he needs to stay happy and healthy. Kenai absolutely loves playing with other dogs and is looking for a home with another active, playful, and friendly dog. Kenai hasn't lived with cats before and any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Kenai is looking for an adult-only home. Due to his breed and energy levels, Kenai is not a good fit for an apartment or condo environment and would greatly benefit from a fenced yard to run around. If you're ready to welcome home this fun-loving pup, stop by to visit Kenai today!#activelifestyle #playful #dogcompatible
