Story
Location: Redwood Falls, MN Callie-CalCal-Cal A little bit about Callie, she is a very smart and loyal dog. She knows sit, shake and is working on lay and stay. She sits and waits next to her bowl for food. She is learning to eat slower and not gobble it down. She lives with two young kids, she is great with them but prefers to play on her terms. She would probably do best with older kids who would be aware of her boundaries or with no kids. She also lives with 2 elder dogs and 1 cat. She would benefit from being with a younger dog she can play with and follow their lead or she also would be okay being the only dog. She is aware of a kennel but is not a fan of being in one. Callie walks on a leash but can be reactive, she will pull and bark at other dogs. She is also very leery of people she doesn't know. She won't let them touch her and dodges them but she loves her people unconditionally. With continued exposure to people and some training I can see her being very successful. She is very active and needs someone that is able to keep up with her with walks and exercise everyday. At the end of the day she is the first to snuggle up on the couch with you. When it's time for bed she has been sleeping in the big bed with her humans. Callie would do great in a consistent but active household. If this is you Callie would be a great companion! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Brookings, SD Meet Mr. Miles, the lover boy. This little guy loves to venture every nook and cranky. Miles loves to spend time outside as much as he can be. He does get in a playful mood and runs circles around his fosters older dogs. Miles does find himself in trouble when his nose gets the best of him and tries to see what his foster mom is cooking by popping up his two front paws to the counter. He knows basic commands especially sit when a treat is involved. He is food driven and is working on sit and stay before his food is placed down. He has done well on walks without pulling more than an average puppy would. He loves to check in on his foster children (3 yo and 1.5 yo) with a lick or two. He is a jumper when you haven't seen him for awhile and we are working on getting his excitement out without jumping. He has a large bark on him and will bark when startled in the morning or when it is dark out. He quickly understands when you tell him enough or be quiet. He hasn't expressed any interest in the foster cat and stay his distance. Miles is a great boy who is ready to please and bring joy to a forever home. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Lil Johnny is a wonderful little puppy! He is working on potty training, but really any accident he has in the house is right in front of the door to go outside. He knows where he needs to go, but we are just too late in getting him out. He is great in his kennel and loves to sleep and cuddle in bed at night! He is kenneled while his foster parents work during the day and keeps his kennel clean. He loves to play with the other pups in the house and has been around cats, but really doesn't pay any attention to them. He does know sit, but still working on other commands. He has the cutest, funny ears- one seems like it is broken . When he is excited, his entire body wags! He loves to play with toys and hard chew bones. Lil Johnny will make a fantastic addition to any family! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Ambrosia is an adorable girl with a very sweet and gentle personality. Her face markings are so cute, it looks like she has kool-aid marks around her mouth and eye liner on her beautiful brown eyes. She loves to play with her foster brother and resident fur siblings. As far as toys, she likes her squeaky furry toys and items to chew such as Himalayan chews. She's a medium energy girl who runs and plays but also enjoys snuggle time. She has a calm personality so would think she'd be good with children of all ages. Ambrosia still has some accidents in the house but is working hard to make it outside all the time. Story
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Candace wants what every dog wants: a safe and comfortable home where she can be loved and well-fed. Candace has come a long way since coming to Rescue Network. When she arrived, she had 6 puppies, a severe skin infection, 2 infected teeth, a growth on her head, and was severely underweight. Her skin has now cleared up, she has put on 25+ pounds, had 2 teeth removed, and 2 masses removed. Throughout her medical trials, she has continued to be a happy, friendly dog, who is done raising her puppies and looking to be a young excited lady living life to the fullest. She is a brilliant girl who is eager to learn more of her basic manners and will work hard when rewarded with a tasty treat. She can sit, does well on a leash, knows gentle, and is good with getting baths. Candace is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves playing with her toys independently and with her foster family. She is house-trained and kennel-trained. She does prefer her dog bed to staying in the kennel. When she gets bored she can chew up items, which happened when she was in isolation for her skin infection. Candace's foster home currently has cats; she does well with some and is curious about others. Candace could live with cats that is not bothered by dogs. She has met other dogs; however, tends to resource guard with food and treats so would do best as an only dog. Candace's forever home would have a fenced yard so she could run and chase her balls. She would love an active family that would take her on walks and other outings. She will need a family that continues to work on her training and resource guarding. Candace is also looking for a family that will look beyond her breed and know she has nothing but love and cuddles to give. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Potato is one of the most obedient kind-hearted animals. Everyday she wakes up full of energy and enthusiasm. She will happily be ready to play at a moments notice. When she isnt dropping her toys at your feet, she can be found lounging around waiting for dinner time. When the food is out, Potato will do any command to ensure she gets her fill. she has an obsession with food where she starts drooling. Potato grew up alongside other dogs, but loves to be the center of attention. However, if there is a dog the same size as her with her energy level she loves playing with them. She can run for hours. She loves people and other dogs and had no signs of aggression. She greets everyone with curiosity and excitement. Potato isnt the best at leash training. She loves people and dogs so much that being restrained and not being able to greet them is difficult for her. Sadly with our busy schedules this was one of the few things we struggled with training her.

Story
Tinsley is a beautiful pup with freckles and beautiful black eyeliner around her eyes. She currently lives with cats and dogs. Tinsley can be slow to warm up to new people and would benefit from a confident dog in the home to help her build confidence. Once she knows you, Tinsley will snuggle on the couch with you, seeking belly rubs like she’s been there her whole life! Tinsley loves the lake, and has slowly learned to retrieve a ball in it. She get so excited when she actually gets it runs for shore like she won the lottery! She thinks kids are cool, but older kids would be safer because Tinsley will slip right out the door if you are not careful; she really loves adventures and thinks she can leave to go exploring whenever she wants. A family that takes her on intentional adventures may be a great fit and help reduce some of her wanderlust… A little back story on how she came to rescue- She and her female canine companion were surrended to a sheter in TX. We don;t know the why, but Tinsly was pregant. She waited long enough in the shelter waiting for a home, that she gave birth to her two male pups. She came to MN a week later with them and raised them in a foster home. They have since been adopted. Now its her turn! ##1749383##

Story
Hi there! I’m Ed, and I'm ready to be your new best friend! I'm an 8-month-old, 52-pound super mutt mix—part German Shepherd, part hound, part lab, with maybe a dash of Rhodesian Ridgeback. (I like to think I got the best qualities from all of them!) I'm friendly, sweet, and super smart. I've already mastered commands like "drop it," "leave it," "sit," "down," "out," and "go potty." I'm always eager to learn more, especially if there’s a treat involved—who doesn’t love a good snack? I’m a bit of a chatterbox when I want to show you something (I have a lot to say!), but I rarely bark. My favorite thing in the world is playing with other dogs, no matter their size, and I’m always up for some fun with kids of all ages. Right now, I’m sharing my foster home with a mini Dachshund and a Rat Terrier, and we get along great. While I enjoy my walks, my happy place is right at home, close to my people. If you’re up for long walks, I’d love to join you—just don’t forget to bring some treats to keep me motivated! And when it’s time to wind down, I’m all about snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. I’m fully potty trained, and I’m always excited to earn my rewards for going outside like a good boy. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s ready to fill your home with joy and laughter, then I’m your guy. Apply to adopt me at rescuecrew.org—I can’t wait to meet you! ##2018785##
