Story
Welcome Picasso to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2 year old Lab/Rottie or Shepherd mix. He is 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. He is good on a leash and friendly with other dogs. He loves water and loves to play in the hose water when the kennel is being cleaned. He loves his kennel and will stay in it even when the door is open. He met Apple and Serenity while on leash and was not leash reactive. He was all smiles and tails wagging. He is vaccinated and neutered and looking for his forever home. He would be fine as a family pet. We like the children to be 8 or older. The nice thing about an adult dog is their personality is formed and you know what you are getting. He has some skills like kennel training and leash walking. We know he isn’t leash reactive and was friendly when meeting new dogs. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Mazz to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Maz is a 6.5-month-old pup that is Lab/Smooth Coated Collie. She weighs about 40 lbs. A picture of the mom and dad are available. Both are very friendly and social dogs. The pups would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. The unspayed female was around the male and in just minutes she was pregnant with 10 puppies. These 5 are still available for adoption. All have had 3 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped and will be altered before adoption. Their mom is 65 pounds so we think these pups will be 65 pounds. They know sit, wait and are the ultimate water dogs. They like to play and swim in the foster’s swimming pool. They would all make great camping companions. They love other dogs and all people including kiddos. They have the bushy coat like the Husky and several of them have ice-blue eyes. Mazz is the biggest female. She is 3nd biggest in the litter. She is relaxed and one of the least vocal. She is a nice girl and since he is the biggest girl we think he will for sure be 65 pounds. She is mostly potty trained but will need more consistency than the foster can provide with 4 puppies. They are good in a crate and in a car. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get any of this litter (2 girls and 2 boys) to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Quill to CCPAL Foster Program. Quill is a 1-year old Lab/Husky. He is 62 pounds. He was found on the side of the road and had porcupine quills in his face. A good Samaritan has taken him in and here he is. He is now ready for his forever home. He would love another dog to play with or a good amount of attention if he is the only dog. This boy has the sweet and adorable lab personality but the vocalness of a Husky. He gets along great with cats and children. He would make a great family companion. He is goofy, sweet, attentive and everything you would want in a young dog. He is also potty trained and good with other dogs. He foster home is a rambunctious place with lots of things going on each day. He would be fine with that type of household as well. He is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and neutered. He already has some nice skills you won’t have to train in. This would be a great dog for someone who wants an easy fit into their home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Story
Welcome Milo to CCPAL Rescue Foster Program. Milo is an 8-month-old Lab mix pup. He weighs about 35 pounds and may be 40 full grown. He was found as a stray. He is a little shy but all the pups in this litter are very sweet. Milo is very submissive and in a play group the bullies pick on him. He would be fine with a family with children. We would like them to be 8 or older. He will be medium sized full-grown dog is our guess. He is friendly with other dogs off-leash. He has a beautiful medium length coat and stunning brown eyes. He was found as a stray and is now in foster care here in Texas. Orion has a brown feathery coat with a white blaze on his chest. He is a moderate shedding dog and not over the top. He stays in his yard and plays nicely with other dogs. He is good with all people and is very loving. He loves to play in the water and playing with sticks. He is a typical puppy. They are good at walking next to you in the yard. Orion would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He isn’t food assertive when eating and is not over the top wiggly. He is playful and outgoing. He is currently neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Story
Blossom is a petite girl with a spunky attitude, who loves to be in the middle of the action. She is pretty nimble for a 6 month old puppy and will chart a path to whatever treat she is after. She loves to give sweet kisses and will, with the slightest encouragement, plop her head on your lap for some ear and head scratches while she gazes up at you. Blossom’s sweet, playful nature helps her get along with every dog she meets. When she’s feeling extra cute, she will pull out her signature diving plop and roll. In new situations, Blossom tends to be timid but with a little coaxing (aka treats) she quickly gains confidence and gets her spunk back. If you have any chew toys lying around, you can be sure that Blossom will make sure they are well-loved. Details: Blossom is crate trained, mostly house trained, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. She gets along with kids and generally avoids cats. She is working on her basic commands and is up for adoption through Save-A-Stray. Feel free to contact me for more details/questions! If you need a buddy complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Thank you for your interest in a Save a Stray pet. The first step is to complete an adoption application. https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Chief is a sweet, happy, playful 10 month old lab mix. He was somehow adopted by an older couple looking for a "plug and play" addition to the family. But like any normal puppy, he needs a little training. He is good on housetraining, but he likes to jump up on people and the owner didn't want her clothes getting dirty. Yes we get dogs surrendered and abandoned for all kinds of reasons that make us scratch our heads. Chief is currently with a trainer that will help with that so this sweet boy can be on good behavior for his new family. He is doing sooo much better! He is neutered, HW negative and UTD on all required vaccines. Chif has a significant scar across his face that was from some sort of puppy injury. We just want this sweet pup to have a safe, loving home where he will be cherished. He would be a great addition to a young, relatively active family. If you would like to be Chiefs guardian angel please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com. and we will send our info and app. If you do not see a response, please check your spam folder.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hi I'm  Candycorn !  I'm a beautiful lady who came into rescue with some secret cargo in my tummy.  I was a good mama and raised my babies and sent them all on to new homes.  Now it's my turn!  With new people and in new places I'll admit I get nervous and I either find a safe corner to hide in or I'll possibly bark.  At home with my foster mama where I'm familiar with things I'm a completely different dog.  I have the bestest happy smile, my tail doesn't stop wagging and I get the cutest dance and zoomies.  I gently jump against my fosters mamas leg so she can give me hugs and kisses.  Sometimes I kiss back!  When she stops I gently put my paw on her arm so she knows I want more.  I also love when she gives me chin and cheek scratches and I should probably mention tummy rubs are great too.     I get along great with all dogs and like to chase and wrestle when they're my friends.  I would do best having a doggie sibling in my new home so they can help me learn the routine in my new home and help me be more confident.     At home I am learning to walk on leash.  It's going great since I trust my foster mom.  It's fun jumping around in the grass and feeling the sun shine down on my face and the wind in my fur.  I haven't pottied on leash yet for her, but I do know that I should do all my business a fenced area so I do request one in my home.   I am kennel trained and I never potty in it.  I'm too smart for that!  I'm usually quiet in it too.  I know it's a safe spot when I need it too, though I prefer to be out hanging around my mom's feet instead.  When she's working I'm usually laying under her desk close to her in case she needs me.  You get treats there and pets haha!   I really like toys!  The soft ones are my favorite to chew on. I never had toys before rescue. I don't always like to share them, but I've learned mom will trade me for them and she'll gently play tug of war with me.     I haven't met any kids yet, but I think I'd be ok with older respectful kids who would be kind and gentle with me.  Fast movement and loud noises are overwhelming and I don't want to get scared and have to run and hide.  A quiet home where I can be a spoiled princess would be awesome.     Come and meet me and I promise you'll find that with a little time to learn that I'm safe and can trust you with my heart that you'll find a loving and loyal family member in me that will love you unconditionally! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared.  Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption.  This will be at the adopters expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses .   Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue.   Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in th eir forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a    particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit.  Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.     ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up.
