Welcome Mazz to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Maz is a 6.5-month-old pup that is Lab/Smooth Coated Collie. She weighs about 40 lbs. A picture of the mom and dad are available. Both are very friendly and social dogs. The pups would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. The unspayed female was around the male and in just minutes she was pregnant with 10 puppies. These 5 are still available for adoption. All have had 3 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped and will be altered before adoption. Their mom is 65 pounds so we think these pups will be 65 pounds. They know sit, wait and are the ultimate water dogs. They like to play and swim in the foster’s swimming pool. They would all make great camping companions. They love other dogs and all people including kiddos. They have the bushy coat like the Husky and several of them have ice-blue eyes. Mazz is the biggest female. She is 3nd biggest in the litter. She is relaxed and one of the least vocal. She is a nice girl and since he is the biggest girl we think he will for sure be 65 pounds. She is mostly potty trained but will need more consistency than the foster can provide with 4 puppies. They are good in a crate and in a car. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get any of this litter (2 girls and 2 boys) to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato.
