Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hello everyone, meet CLYDE! This handsome guy is the perfect gentleman! He is potty trained and kennel trained. He has only spent time in a large 10 x 10 kennel, so I don’t know he would be in a smaller kennel. He loves his toys and can usually be found chewing his benebone. He seems to like all the dogs he meets, however, he doesn’t like to share his toys. Although he loves his doggie friends, he really likes to spend time with his people. Running and retrieving the ball in a fenced yard is ideal. He does get the zoomies! He walks great on a leash and can hardly contain himself when he knows it’s time to go! He does get very excited if he sees others on his walk, so we are working on manners. He has seen cats and is a bit apprehensive at first, but then is curious about what they do. There is a fence between them so proper introduction would be necessary if they will coexist. In his previous home he had trouble with younger kids, so respectful kids 12 and up is best for him. He has had some training. He knows sit, down, off, stay (although that one is tough to do at times!). He will gladly trade kisses for butt scratches any chance he gets. Clyde is an all around great guy! If you want an exercise buddy and couch cuddler he is your man. Please meet this guy, you will not be disappointed. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: West St Paul, MN Hello! I’m Moose. I am an energetic, happy-go-lucky guy. My ideal home would have a fenced yard and a family that will give me plenty of exercise. I love to go on long walks. I do pull some to begin with but will settle down. I am working on this, and am improving! I enjoy playing with the resident dogs, a lab and a shepherd mix. I think it would be great to have a canine friend. I sometimes play a little rough, so I may not be a fit for all dogs. I am not a good fit with cats. I chase and am very aggressive with them. I like to sit on the couch with you for some snuggle time, or at your feet to just chill. I really love to chew on my bones. I have never taken or chewed anything that doesn’t belong to me, I’m such a good boy! I would love to show you what a good boy I am. Please fill out an application so we can meet! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sauk Rapids, MN Jackson, or as he prefers to be called, Boots, is an amazing boy who is trying to adjust and relearn everything after coming back into rescue. He absolutely loves kids and is very protective of them, but he is still working on being okay with men and strangers. He has made great progress but still needs a little help. He has begun kennel training again and is doing very well. Jackson will need yearly blood work-ups seeing that he is Lyme Positive. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Apple Valley, MN My name is Scarlett. I am silly, playful, and the sweetest girl. I love everyone I meet and like to greet them with a hug! I like food as much as I like cuddling and belly rubs! I take treats so gently but I get a little protective over my chewies or bones. I live with a bunch of kids and cats and I love them all! My foster family has not had me around many dogs other than my puppies so they are not sure how I would do yet. I was pretty scared of the cats at first but we get along so well now. I am fully potty trained and I walk great on a leash. I don’t love my kennel but I do well when I need to go in it. My foster mom says I am so smart. I have already learned how to sit and lay down and I even taught myself how to open the sliding glass door when I want to go potty! When my foster family is busy, I like to sneak a piece of their clothing or one of my toys to snuggle with! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hi my name is Tails but my foster family calls  me TJ. I am just a little guy my foster mom was so surprised to see how small I am since I look bigger in my pictures. One thing that the pictures do not lie about is how handsome I am. I have the most beautiful red coloring and adorable white markings. I have a foster dog brother and I look just like his mini me! I get along great with the 2 dogs in the home, I am not super hyper and annoying like some puppies so I am not jumping all over them, so they are enjoying having a calmer pup around. Now don’t get me wrong I do enjoy playing! My foster mom throws this bright green round thing around the yard and me and the other dogs run after it and chase each other after someone gets it. Unfortunately that’s usually not me since I have such little legs, they are just faster! My foster mom says that I am house trained since I haven’t had an accident in the house since coming to live with them. If I have to go outside I will get up and pace by the door. I am working hard on crate training right now and its getting better. It takes maybe about 15 mins for me to calm down for the night. Once I have settled in I don’t usually make a peep until its time to get up in the morning. I am always SOOO excited to see my people. I love being by them and just feeling their presence, I have heard them call me their little shadow.  I like to go where ever they are! I am a bit vocal and you can just hear the excitement in my voice when I see my people. I do eventually calm down and then I am quiet  I have not met little kids yet but my foster mom thinks I would be fine with them if they are respectful. I didn’t have a lot of human interaction at the beginning of my life and while I LOVE it sometimes fast motions scare me and I flinch. My foster mom says she doesn’t think I have a mean bone in my body though! We have started working on training and the first thing my foster mom said we need to master is the four on the floor rule. Apparently not everyone loves to be jumped and loved on. We have also started to work on my leash manners. Apparently youre not supposed to chew on it while trying to walk... Who knew! But my foster mom things that with consitancy I will be a pro in no time! There are these animals in the backyard that my foster mom calls chickens and so far I haven’t shown any interest in them in fact I jumped when I first saw one up close. So my foster mom thinks that I will be just fine with little critters. If you are interested in learning more about me I would love a chance to make a new friend so fill out an application! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2359704##
