Meet Goldie! Goldie is a fantastic medium sized golden girl who is looking for her furever family! This sweet, snuggly, smart pup is the total package and here is a little bit more about her: Personality: Goldie loves her people! Big or small, Goldie is a fan! Goldie is a great mix of cuddle up on the couch with her human, playing with the resident dog in her foster home or she can be found independently playing with her toys. She is extremely eager to please and food motivated that will make training so much fun. Crate trained? Yep. Goldie is crated while her foster family is at work and sleeps all night in her crate. Leash? She is a dream on leash! She walks loosely on leash and loves to explore the world! Goldie has so much fun on leash that she forgets to go potty. She’ll need a fenced yard because of this in her forever home. With a fenced yard she is potty trained! Other Animals: Goldie lives with another dog and loves to play and snuggle. She plays well with dogs her size and bigger. Goldie is looking for a kitty free home! What Goldie needs in a forever home: Goldie will thrive in a home with humans who are dog savvy- Goldie is so smart and will do wonderfully with continued leadership and training. Meet Jan- This beauty is friendly, smart, curious, social, playful and affectionate. Jan loves all dogs and cats (yes cats) in fact, she needs another dog friend in the house to learn the ropes from. She also enjoys respectful children and meeting new people. Toys, toys, toys and bones, bones, bones but BALLS are the best- as a retriever mix she loves balls and can play all day! After playtime, Jan is ready for snuggles and chilling out. Jan thrives on a routine- she is learning o be ok by herself and routine is key. She enjoys walks and is learning to do well on them but needs a fence to continue to be successful with potty training. Jan is the cutest- When she wags her tail, her whole body wags! Jan is waiting for you....... If you would like to meet Jan, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.

*Pammy’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Hi! My name is Pammy!I arrived in Minnesota in February. I was a little nervous starting out, but I am adjusting extremely well. I also found out that while I like running and playing in the snow, I do enjoy a good Minnesota summer as well! I am fully potty trained and sleep in my kennel all night! I do a great job being in my kennel during the day when my foster mom goes to work, but boy am I happy to see her when she gets home! My foster mom says she is pretty impressed with me! In my foster house there are currently three other doggos to keep me company and help me learn the ropes of being a good girl. I am a quick learner and love running around in the backyard, playing and chasing with my friends. Also, I do enjoy being around people! I can be shy at first, but do warm up quickly. I love snuggles and pets alike! I will hop up next to you on the couch and gently paw asking for attention. I love giving the puppy dog eyes, it works fantastically for getting all of the pets!I would love for your home to be my furever home and I promise to show you how much love I have to give! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hi, I’m Ellie…and you are?? Well, nice to meetcha!!Have you ever looked up the meaning of your name? I just did, and boy does my name fit. “Ellie” comes from the Greek and translates to “light” or “bright one” and is often given with the expectation that the child (or puppy in my case) would embody the qualities associated with light and brightness -- positivity, joy, and radiance. THAT’S ME!!!!!!I arrived in Minnesota and am currently staying with a foster family and their resident dog. I was pretty nervous when I first met them, but it’s all good now that they gave me some time and lots of yummy treats. My favorite place to be is in your lap…you won’t mind though because I’m super soft and warm. I love to play with toys/kids/dogs (and give lots of kisses)…but bully rubs are THE BEST!!!I sleep all night in my kennel, but love to snuggle and take naps on the couch or bed too. I’m good at doing my “business” outside, but only when I’m good and ready…I don’t like to rush these things, so I take my time to pick just the right “spot to squat.”Anyway, I’m just super excited to have the chance to find a family of my own…could it be yours?--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi everyone, I’m Winn Dixie! Some of you may know that I’m named after a grocery store which is a fun fact about me. Some other things you should know are: -I’m a huge love bug-I always am happy to be around people-I’m sweet and gentle Long story short, I was found wandering by a school in Alabama for a while and thankfully, a nice person that worked there made me a dog house to stay safe in. It was great for a while, but the only problem was that I was carrying my puppies and the bigger I got, the harder it was to fit in it! Fast forward to getting here to Minnesota with my eleven pups. We are all so happy to be here and safe, getting all of the love we can. But, now that my mommy duties are finished, I am ready to be a regular dog again! I can’t wait to find a family to give all of my love to. Whether we’re going on a walk or snuggling up on the couch, it doesn’t matter what we do as long as I’m with you. I’m a great girl and would love to fill your days with happiness and endless kisses!***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Winn Dixie is Heartworm positive and not yet spayed. She will soon start her Heartworm treatment. Once her treatment is complete, and her spay is done, the adoption can be finalized. Once her adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high-energy play or exercise. Winn Dixie will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. If you are interested in adopting Winn Dixie, please fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi! I’m Snoopy, although my foster mom doesn’t think I look like a Snoopy, so she calls me Finn or Finnegan, because when I first arrived, I’d get halfway out the door & then want to come back in…so Finn is based on In again, out again, Finnegan! I came to Minnesota from Texas where I’d been running around with my girlfriend and her puppies…my whole family got a ride up here with a bunch of other pups. It was a bit of a scary time and they separated me from the rest of my family. When foster mom first picked me up, I didn’t know what to think. I tended to scurry away if she tried to pet me that first day. But after she gave me plenty of food and a treat or two, I decided she was probably safe. And I let her give me some pets! And that was awesome! And now I follow her around wherever she goes, and she lets me cuddle on the sofa while she watches TV and sleep on the end of her bed! I love Minnesota! I like to spend some time outside sniffing the yard perimeter and tossing my toys around in the yard. I have a foster brother that I like to do zoomies & play with sometimes. But my most favorite thing is to get pets from my humans. I’ve even been known to give them a kiss or two to say thanks! Besides pets, my other favorite thing is food! I will happily clean up any leftovers you’d care to share. And if you don’t care to share, thanks OK. Just know I will watch closely and use my best puppy dog eyes while you are eating!. Foster mom says to tell you that I am VERY good at not chewing on anything I shouldn’t inside the house. Despite that, foster mom makes me stay in this thing she calls a crate when she leaves for more than an hour or so she’s sure I can’t get into any mischief. But she gives me a treat, so I don’t mind going it at all. And she says to tell you I stay pretty quiet in there. I even go in sometimes on my own to just chill! She also says to be sure to tell you I know to do my business out of doors and that while I do back sometimes in the backyard, I don’t in the house unless someone comes to the door. I love my foster mom, so I gotta let her know if there is someone there! So I’d love to have you come meet me! I might be a little shy when you arrive, but I warm up quickly and love people 2 to 72 (and probably older…I just haven’t met any yet)! I love to find my forever family & be their snuggle bunny!

Story
Hi! My name is Stella and I am from Arkansas. Stella is a beautiful 70ish lb black lab whose favorite hobbies include napping, wagging her tail, and chewing on squeaky toys. She loves meeting new people, she is so excited to show them her toys and to get pets from them. She isn't very fond of other dogs in our experience, so we would definitely recommend slow intros with controlled introductions (walks, through baby gates, etc) and a watchful eye to start. Stella needs to only be with older considerate children, she does not appreciate little ones who want to hug and be in her space all the time. She has not been tested with kitties, but we think she would do best in a cat free home. Stella has been on a weight management diet and she is doing great! Stella free roams in our house when we are gone, and we have had no issues! We fell in love with her instantly, and she loved us instantly too! We describe her to our friends as "the perfect dog", she is a great addition and is happy to just be near her people. If you are looking for a chill, SUPER happy, cuddly dog then Stella is the one for you!
