Story
Say hello to Radley, the charming superstar of the Bluey Litter! Born on February 1, 2025, this dapper little dude is ready to steal your heart. His amazing mom, Hadley, is a laid-back heeler mix who was rescued after being abandoned by her previous family. As for Dad? Well, he’s a mystery—probably a handsome wanderer with some heeler flair! Radley is the life of the party and knows how to have a blast! Whether he’s wrestling with his four-legged foster brother or playing tug-of-war with his favorite squeaky toys, he’s always up for some fun. This little explorer loves to romp through the grass, hunt for bugs, and embark on new adventures.  Radley is looking for an active home where he can thrive! He’d be the perfect fit for someone who enjoys outdoor escapades and is eager to teach him all the puppy essentials. A playful fur sibling to keep him entertained and show him the ropes would be a bonus! Plus, he’ll need a fenced yard to safely unleash his playful spirit. (We recommend a home without small children—Radley might think they're just too much fun to chase!) Are you ready to make Radley a part of your family? Don’t wait—complete our adoption application today! This little guy is eagerly awaiting his forever home, and it just might be with you!    To meet Radley in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application. They will be available in a couple weeks, so applications are being reviewed now.  If you can't decide between all these siblings, make a note in comments you are interested in the Bluey litter. ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! Rehoming due to domestic violence. Found a temp home for now but will need a forever home! He was about 3 months old when I got him and he will be 5 in July. He knows basic commands but is working on training and better socializing. He is very smart and just doesn't always like to listen. I would prefer a home that has a backyard at the very least and a home not an apartment. He needs wide open space. He was labeled as an aggressive groomer by the vet so no other shelter will take him but he is not aggressive. He has never bitten anyone. The most he does is bark and then calm down once he understands he is safe. He is not a big fan of his paws being touched so I assume the vet started with nail clipping and scared him. I just want him to have a loving home and not have to end up being euthanized in a shelter due to the vet. He has been around 1 cat and doesn't attack her just thinks hes her size so he jumps to play with her. Working on getting the rest of vaccination.
