Story
Jess is an older dog with lots of energy. She loves to be around people and she loves affection. She gets along well with other dogs for the most part, but as the playing goes on, she gets more aggressive. We've had a few fights break out after a while between her and our male dog. Unsure about cats. Mine always runs before she can get close. She's good with my son but I still keep an eye on her. We adopted her from a shelter about 8 years ago so she's about 10 years old now. We noticed that she would snap at us when we pulled on her collar to hold her back. Not sure if there was trauma before we adopted her. She does not wear a collar now so we haven't had any issues with that anymore. She's never bitten any person but has drawn blood from our male dog a few times. Does not walk well on a leash. She will pull you. Other than that, she is a very lovable dog. I cannot continue to keep my dogs separated and confined to other rooms for fear that a fight will break out so we need to rehome

Story
Ky is a fun loving active dog. We are about to be traveling full time and Ky would not do well on the road. She needs a new home now. Fee is donation to site. Ky is very good in the house and has never chewed up anything not hers. Ky has great athletic abilities---yet has never tried to jump out of a fenced in area (even plastic ones used in homes) She does jump onto tail gates if left open for her to explore. She has gotten better about personal space....she is a huskie mix so she still leans on me. Loves to go for walks. Big girl bark means something is wrong. Howl is broken--but funny. We are retired and getting ready to travel full time. Ky just does not travel well. Doesn't get sick on rides. Just will not poo or eat while traveling. She can hold things for a long time, which will eventually hurt her medically. Boarding her for months at a time doesn't seem fair. Really needs a good active family. Hope you give her a long look and maybe a chance.

Story
Scottie (the Scottish Terrier mix, Doxie Scot?) is a sweet little guy who was found as a skittish stray with an untreated broken leg. Don’t let the pre-mature greys fool you. This small dapper, very portable guy is about 5 years old. He has an adorable trot so he’s better known as Skippy Scotty. He gets along with both cats and dogs in the foster home. Through means of trying to save the leg, it's now been medically recommended that his right leg be amputated since that will be the best course of action for him in the long run.  He's looking forward to becoming a healthier and happier future family companion, just with one less paw. ##1773669##
