Story
This guy is from a shelter in California. I grabbed him because he was going to be euthanized otherwise. He was skin and bones when he got here. He gets along with my old dog and my one cat. The older one is scared of him, but that's an issue with her. While skittish, he's super sweet. He loves to lay next to you and isn't very high-energy. He is leash trained and knows stay, sit, lay, and leave it. Lewis does have a luxating patella on his back-left leg, but the vet said to leave it alone. Unfortunately, he does not like my mother. He growls when she enters the room or if she wakes him up. This hasn't escalated into a bite or even mouthing, but it scares her. While I know how to fix it training wise, it's not something she's comfortable doing. This was kind of intended to be a foster-to-adopt situation, but I think it's best if he goes to a new home. Maybe with a single person.

Story
Cooper is a sweet and obedient dog. He loves people and is very gentle. He’s never had any issues besides he loves to run away! Unfortunately, our family lives in a fairly small home on a small lot. He gets walks and to the dog park often and it not enough. We are worried. Any chance he gets he will take off and run through the neighborhood. We don’t want him to get hurt and have decided it is best to find him a new home with a fenced in yard or lots of space.

Tucker is a great family dog- unfortunately with change of events I do not have the best schedule with work to not kennel him for more than half the day which is not fair to him at all. He is a very happy and playful dog that just needs a good home.

Story
We are fostering this 11 month old young man for a friend because he outgrew her 6 year old son, though he has never shown signs of aggression. He is now full grown and weighs about 50lbs. He has had several training classes and responds well to a firm command and has also been trained to bark collar, a vibrate/beep/shock collar, walks well on a leash, is fully house trained and crate trained at night. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on veterinary and immunizations. He would make an excellent guard dog and companion. He comes with everything you may need: crate, leashes, toys, dishes, collars, food, treats and records. We live in Casco but can bring him to Macomb County to meet you if it’s easier.

Story
SaDeye (pronounced Sah-Die) is a six yr old lab/pit bull mix that we've had since she was just weeks old . Her birthday is September 11th, we bought her from an old neighbor as a little puppy before we had our children. SaDeye is a very excitable and playful dog. She needs a loving home that has space for all her energy and time for all the love and affection she deserves. We live in a small trailer, have a 3 yr old daughter and twins on the way. We've never been able to afford to get her fixed (which her vet recommends she still does) and her shots need updated as well. We love her, however, are unable to provide for her with the babies coming and both of us working full time. She needs a home looking for a fun dog to love and people who have the time and money to care for her how she deserves.
