Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Pinckney, MI Meet Cooper! He is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Cooper is fearful of strangers! He is good with kids! He hasn’t been tested around cats. No dogs, due to his reactivity! Cooper is housebroken and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering him because he is aggressive towards their other dog. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Cooper, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Cooper. Originally an outdoor dog on a Mennonite farm. My uncle adopted her about 4 years ago. Unfortunately, my uncle has entered hospice and can no longer care for her. She prefer a quiet environment as she can become anxious with change. I believe she is 8 years old. She is a great companion and would thrive in a home that offers her love and attention.

We bought her from a farm in Pennsylvania in September 2020. Her birthday is July 14th. Currently she is 65lbs and won’t get any bigger. We love her so much but she is lonely cuz we go to work in the morning and come home at night. I and my wife have a restaurant so we work late, which means we don’t have time to company with her. She stay in front of the glass window every day and look outside. Besides, we live in an apartment so that she don’t have backyards to play. Looks like she is very lonely. So we want to find a person who has a home with background, or can take her to play often. She is super super friendly and loves people. We’ll provide 7 days food and all her clothing and collar and leash.

Story

Sadie is about 10 months old and some friends of ours used to have her. She is a purebred Border Collie. She used to be very fearful of people, and the husband could never really form a bond with her, so they returned her to the breeder, although she almost immediately formed a bond with both of us. My husband felt very sad that she was returned to the breeder, so he brought her home one day. We have a summer cottage and learned that we cannot have a third dog (we currently have two). They all get along well, and also with our two cats. However, we have no place for her to run nor do we have a fenced-in yard, which she would benefit greatly from. She has been a bit stubborn about potty training, so we sometimes still have accidents in the house. Part of it may be our fault. Sadie is beautiful and very sweet and has overcome her shyness. We just want to find an appropriate home for her where she can run and get more exercise.
