Not good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Bejeweled is a goofy pit bull mix who came to us from another shelter. She was heartworm positive when she arrived there but she has been treated and is good to go! She's great with people and wants nothing more than a person of her own and maybe a yard to play in. She is quite intelligent and well behaved and has been a super star in training with our volunteers. She is eager to please and picks things up quickly. Her only flaw is that she is a bit of a diva with other dogs. She can walk with them, pass them on the street, etc but she absolutely does not want to play with them. She is fine as long as they don't do something crazy like ask her to play! She is hoping there is someone out there looking for a princess of their own! All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots before adoption. Stop by the shelter today if you think Bejeweled would be a good fit for your home!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Totoro is a handsome but nervous mixed breed who came to the shelter after being bounced around a few times. We don't know much about his history and he's been very nervous since being here, but he hasn't let his fear stop him from making friends. What we do know is that he seems to be housebroken and has lived with other dogs before, though they did not care for his company. The dogs he has met here make him a little nervous (you might see a theme here, he's a worried guy!) but he is trying so hard to be brave! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. If you're looking for a sweet young guy who is just hoping for the perfect lap to snuggle into, Totoro is your guy!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Porco Rosso is a big blocky headed boy with more brawn than brains! He was picked up as a stray and no one came looking for him so he's ready to meet his new family. He's a handsome guy who likes other dogs but doesn't have the greatest social skills. He would do best with a tolerant female who will tell him off when he's crossing the line from polite to annoying! He takes corrections well which is good because it takes a few before it sinks in! He doesn't require a ton of exercise but would enjoy a yard to wander in and a couch to nap on afterward! All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots before adoption.

Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Summer is a cute teenage pibble who came to the shelter as a stray. Unfortunately at some point in his short little life he somehow broke his elbow. It has healed so the only option is to amputate. He will have a much better life without the pain of a leg that he cannot use. It doesn't bother him now so he should adjust to life as a tripod without looking back! All he needs now is a family of his own. He loves other dogs and is a happy go lucky baby who hopes that his injury won't keep people from adopting him. All our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots before adoption.

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Cornelia is a big goofy presa canario who came to the shelter when someone found her wandering their apartment complex. She came to us with badly cropped ears that were done recently. We treated the infection and they are healing nicely. Cornelia is looking for a family with some mastiff/guardian breed experience. She did great with another dog in play group but a larger male would be her ideal friend. All our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots before adoption!
