Story
Meet Hazel! Hazel is a beautiful mixed breed pup who is approximately 7 months old. Hazel came to us when her owner was no longer able to care for her. Hazel is a friendly girl who is full of energy. Her previous owner said she has been good around children. We are suggesting older kids with her because of her exuberance. Hazel does know a few basic commands. She is eager to please and should learn new commands easily. Hazel enjoys playing in our yard and loves playing fetch. She does fairly well on a leash and enjoys going for walks. Hazel would be a great companion for an active home. She seems to do well with the other LHS dogs. If you are interested in this pretty little girl, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm and Saturday 12-3pm.

Story
This sweet girl is named Cuddles. She is a small mix breed pup who is approximately one and a half years old. Cuddles is a friendly girl who loves attention. Cuddles will need some work on basic commands and leash walking. Her new owner should be aware that Cuddles needs to lose weight to be a healthy and happy girl. It is recommended that she stay on a quality weight management food and get plenty of exercise. She would benefit from walks on a leash and playing in the yard. Cuddles may enjoy another dog her size or older children to play with. If you would like to give Cuddles the life she deserves, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours, Wednesdays 6-8pm or Saturdays 12-3pm

Story
Look at this gorgeous girl! Meet Lola! Lola is a retriever mix that is approximately 2 and a half years old and 50lbs. Lola is a friendly and good natured dog. She has lived with another dog and does well with children. She is an energetic dog who will need an active owner to keep her happy. Lola does need some work walking on a leash. She sometimes tends to pull, especially if she sees something fun to chase. Lola will tend to roam so she needs to be leash walked or on a tieout. A fenced yard would be ideal for her to safely run and play. Lola loves to be around people and doesn’t like to be alone for long periods of time. If you think Lola would be the perfect fit for your home, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesdays 6-8pm or Saturdays 12-3pm.

Story
This handsome boy is named Rocky. Rocky is a mixed breed who is approximately 2yrs old. He was unfortunately an unclaimed stray at animal control. Whoever didn’t come looking for him certainly is missing out on a great dog. Rocky is incredibly friendly and well adjusted. He knows several commands -sit , stay, lay down and shake to name a few. Rocky walks well on a leash and would make a great walking or running partner. He likes other dogs and enjoys running in the yard with them. Rocky really is a perfect dog. He deserves to finally have a home to call his own and owners who adore him. If you are able to give Rocky that, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm & Saturdays 12-3pm

Story
This is cooper. He is an almost 2 year old Shepard husky mix. His birthdate is on 1 the first of the year. He is trained and knows some commands sit , lay , place , leave if and when pointing to the crate and using the word crate will enter his crate. He would do best in a home with cats that are good with dogs. He is very friendly with other dogs and people. He has never attempted to bite anyone and is gentle enough if he has something in his mouth you can stick his hand in his mouth and grab it without worry. He is your typically 2 year old dog and is energetic but typically his play spurts last about 15 to 20 minutes and then he’s ready to lay dog. Please reach out with any questions. I will be willing to drive him to you if located around buffalo ny area .
