Story
NAME: Iggy BREED: Terrier mix AGE: 5 years old WEIGHT: 13 lbs.   LIKES: Iggy likes other dogs and loves playing with the big dog in his foster home. He loves his people and loves getting pets. He is sweet and funny and a delightful dog. He loves looking out the window at the goings on outside. Iggy loves going on walks and hikes. He loves his stuffed animals. Iggy needs at least one walk per day for his energy level.   DISLIKES: Iggy is wary of strangers or strange noises. He can be protective of his people. He has been doing well with cues from the other dogs in his foster home and is doing better greeting people he doesn't know. Once he gets acquainted, he is amazing with people.    PERSONALITY TRAITS: Iggy is the best “greeter” and gets very excited when his people come home. He is very observant and notices EVERYTHING. Iggy would do best in a home with teens and adults, and with people who are experienced with terriers and their BIG personalities. Iggy should only go to a home with confident, dog-savvy, cats or no cats.    POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Potty trained in his foster home.    EXTRA: Iggy does not love his crate, but will go in it when left home alone. You’ll find that he will vocalize his protest of crate time when his people are gone, making apartment living a less than ideal option for all involved. Iggy has shown no destructive tendencies in his foster home, making him a bit of a gentleman and sweetheart to have around.   Would an eager, adventure seeking, likes to be on the move little dude fit into your life? Iggy just might be “the one”!   To further inquire about Iggy, click on the link to submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how Iggy will mesh with your lifestyle.    Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.    Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for XXX, as well as HIS/HER future family.   *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon   ADOPTION APP: https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/   FOSTER APP: https://www.wigglytails.org/foster-application-and-information-sheet ##897337##

Story
PINKY   BREED: Min-Pin/Chihuahua cross AGE: 8 months  WEIGHT: 10 lbs.   LIKES: affection/ attention, playing, toys, walking/ hiking, food, treats   DISLIKES: Will, initially, bark at men she doesn’t know.   PERSONALITY TRAITS: Pinky can be shy or fearful upon first meeting, but warms up very quickly, and is SUPER sweet and playful. She loves to explore her world, and is a smart and attentive girl. She listens, too! Pinky has done well with other dog of the same size in her foster home. She has not encountered cats or young children, though, we recommend a calm Meet & Greet opportunity to test her acceptance of both.     POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Pinky will need ongoing help with potty training. She has had random accidents in her foster home, but does well when kept on a schedule and taken out regularly. Every new environment offers an opportunity for improvement and learning the rules. She is a pleasant work in progress.    CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Pinky sleeps quietly through the night in her crate and will seek out crate time independently. She loves to burrow and makes an impressive blanket nest.   EXTRAS/MISC.: Pinky is a joyful, happy, dog that loves BIG! She is so cute, adaptable, and easy to fall in love with. The perfect adventure buddy or around the house pal. She is very special.   To further inquire about PINKY, click on the link to submit an application. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
MOOSE   BREED: Catahoula/Great Dane cross (possibly Terrier, too) AGE: 8 months old WEIGHT: 50 pounds    Moose is active, athletic, smart and playful! He's a big, goofy, lovable dude who loves to give kisses and be where the action is. A diamond in the "ruff".    LIKES: Very friendly, enjoys meeting new people. He loves to run, play, and explore his surroundings. He enjoys being outside in the backyard. He also LOVES playing with the other dogs in his foster home, though he does play rough and is mouthy.    Due to his activity level, we recommend a home with a yard for him to explore and play (no apartments). Moose has a deep, loud, bark and uses his voice when playing or when alerting his people to something. He will find success in a home with people who have experience with working/power breed dogs.    POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Almost 100%. He does really well on a schedule.   CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Moose sleeps in a kennel each night. He might whine for a few minutes, initially, but settles quickly and sleeps through the night. During the day, while foster family is at work he's in a kennel for approx 4 hours at a time.    MISC. INFO: Would definitely enjoy a home with a doggy friend who is active and playful. Enjoys having toys to play with, especially hard chew toys. He is very food motivated which helps when training. His foster family is working on learning "sit" and "wait", leash walking skills, and going into his kennel for a treat reward. We encourage training classes to help Moose gain all the important skills to be the best canine companion he can be. He will be a fantastic jogging/hiking/adventure buddy, easily able to keep up, while giving him an outlet to expend some energy! He's definitely a pup who will need regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep him entertained and keep him from making his own fun.   ***NOTE: Moose seems to get along best with female dogs or submissive male dogs with non-confrontational energy.***    To further inquire about MOOSE, click on the link to submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how MOOSE will mesh with your lifestyle.    Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.    Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process.
