Story
Abby is 2 years old and an absolute sweetheart! She loves people and gets along very well with both dogs and cats. She hasn't been around children often but she is such a gentle soul and would be PERFECT for a family. She loves her toys and carries one with her at all times. She's not leash trained as she's had a large fenced yard to run in but she's always trained very easily. She's very well-behaved: she doesn't chew, sits to wait for treats, happily sleeps by herself in the living room, and can be left alone without worry. She adjusts to new routines quickly. She's a purebred English Cream Golden Retriever. We would not be rehoming if my elderly parents weren't coming to live with us (dogs are too much of a risk of falling for them). We love Abby with all of our hearts and will make sure she goes to the right home. We'd prefer a loving family as we think that's where she'd really thrive and be happiest.

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Brees (Like Drew Brees) is a mini Aussie that loves being active and playing. He is well-trained and does well inside and outside. Does well with kids, dogs, cats, and loves livestock (will not chase unless allowed). We recently got rid of our last bit of horses and livestock and have two young kids at home, so Brees just isn’t in an environment where he can thrive, but he is a phenomenal and loving animal. Brees does not resource guard, has never bitten, and is general well-behaved, but he needs to be with people and other animals.

Remington, VA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Duke is a great boy. He suffers from a bit of separation anxiety and likes to wander (has always come back) but other than that, he is such a sweet, loving, loyal boy. Unfortunately for us, due to timing and a toddler, we have been unable to give Duke the attention and basic training he needs. He understands sit and lay down, he needs work on his recall, stay, and jumping, and of course for the separation anxiety to be addressed.
