Story
Banks, the rescue formerly known as Bane, is an 80 pound baby. Sometimes (ok- always) he doesn’t realize his own size & strength. We suggest an alpha personality owner for this boy to help him understand the “dos and don’ts” in the dog & human world. He would do best as an only pet with someone who wants a dog that adores them (he falls in love easily). Apply to adopt Banks at apsofpc.org under the Adopt tab. His fee is only $50!July 14, 2024, 3:27 pm

Update- Did we mention his adoption fee is only $50!?!? BELLY RUBS! I roll over for your rubs. I’m a playful, medium-energy personality. I’m kid-friendly. I was found in someone’s barn protecting a pregnant dog. Momma and pups got adopted, but I’m still waiting for my person. I tell all male dogs to keep their distance. But let me meet your female dog, because we might become fast friends. I’m a 2-3 year old hound mix. I’m house trained, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, walk loosely on leash, and I know some basic commands. Sometimes I even like to act like Snoopy and lay on my dog house!  Hey hey! Let’s meet up and find out if I’m your new hound. Apply at https://www.apsofpc.org/adoptionProcess.php! #hounddog #rescuehound #apsofpc #ilovebellyrubsJuly 14, 2024, 3:27 pm

Story
Meet LuLu, a sociable, energetic 10-year-old beagle/shepard mix. Her favorite things are people (especially kids), car rides and walks. LuLu is well loved by her owners and was raised as an indoor dog, but because of family circumstances, she is currently living outside. She misses her daily human interaction and would thrive with a family that can spend time with her, take her on car rides and daily walks. Although diagnosed with hip dysplasia, but this does not dim LuLu’s outlook on life or her ability to take short walks. Her owners are looking to rehome her to a family that will be able to provide for her needs and give her lots of love and attention. This girl is heartworm negative, spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines. All you have to do is meet this sweet, senior pup to fall in love with her. LuLu’s adoption fee has been sponsored. Please apply at apsofpc.org. #apsofpc #seniordogJuly 14, 2024, 3:27 pm

Story
Sammy is looking for an active forever family or a family with a big fenced in yard as he has lots of energy and absolutely loves to run.  He is dog friendly but I would recommend dogs equal or bigger to his size as he does play rambunctiously with them and also a dog that can handle rough housing and play growls. He is incredibly fast and also can jump high so if you are looking for a dog for agility, he is incredibly smart and treat motivated. He loves zoomies.  He learned his routine so quick. Is crate trained, Has great recall. He loves to snuggle and will cuddle up with you on the couch in a heartbeat.  Walks on the leash but still working with him not to pull. He also does jump on you so continued training will be needed and because of this we recommend no small children.. Sammy has the most beautiful shiny black coat, beautiful smile, and is a great size at about 44lbs. He eats a lot because he is so energetic. He would love to become your running, walking, hiking partner and I know will be the most loyal best friend you could ever ask for. He is cute, lovable, sweet, funny and ready for his forever family to love back. And ready to go with you on car rides. His DNA came back and was a surprise. He is actually a German Short-haired Pointer/Jindo mix with a little Pointer.  Sammy is neutered, up to date on vaccines including Canine Flu, HW negative and on HW Preventative. Approx. 1 1/2 years old. Sammy needs a home with no small farm animals, chickens, ducks, etc as well as no cats.    Adoption process will be through www.littlebucketsfarmsanctuary.com in Brodnax, VA. Please reach out to littlebucketsfarmsanctuary@gmail.com with any questions. Additional pics and videos can be found on Instagram under @littlebucketsfarmsanctuary bio - by hitting the circle Adopt Sammy.   Sammy was growing up at a local shelter . The shelter could not believe he had not gotten adopted. They had even taken him to several events because he was so good. Little Buckets pulled him into our care so he didn't have to grow up in the shelter one more day. Now we want him to find his new family.July 14, 2024, 3:27 pm
