Story
Hey! Anyone out there a sucker for Roses? Well I have good news for you! This beautiful Rose is looking for a home to call her own! I was surrendered to the shelter for being nippy with the kids in my previous home, so the landlord made my owners give me up. As sad as that situation was, I am trying to stay my happy self and look to the future! I am such a sweet girl with people, but little kids can be too much for me, so I need a home with older, respectful kids that can give me space when I need it. The shelter environment stresses me out because I do not get along with other dogs. Because of this, I need a home without any other dogs. I also don't get along with cats. There may be stipulations in the kind of home I need, but I promise you that I will repay you with so much love! I am a fantastic walker, I love to snuggle up, and I am so smart! I am in desperate need of a way out of this place! Think you could help me out? Come meet me here at the shelter and instantly fall in love! I can't wait to mee you! Story
Hey there! My name is Farkle! I am a gorgeous, velvety hippo that was surrendered because my owner no longer had time to take care of me. I am a big snuggler and wouldn't mind being your couch buddy one bit, but I also am willing to run around, play, and go on walks. I do not need a whole lot of exercise to be satisfied though - I'd much rather get a good belly rub from you instead! I can be hesitant of new people at first. That can be evident if you walk up to my kennel, but I promise if you are patient with me, I will open up and be your absolute best friend! Little kids really aren't my thing though, so I would do best in a home with older kids who will respect my space, preferably teenaged and older. I have lived with another dog in the past and did great with them, but generally, I do not get along with other female dogs. That being said, I could potentially share my home with a male dog in the future! I'm ready for a new start! I just need someone willing to give me the time and patience I need to show you what a fantastic dog I can be. Please, please give me a chance! I hope to see you soon! Primary Color: Brown Weight: 66 Age: 2yrs 2mths 2wks

Story
Hey, Rainy here! I am a pretty, 2-year-old girl that came from a shelter in Upper Peninsula with my brother Scooby in search of a fresh start! We sadly came from a neglectful family and found ourselves homeless. We had been at that shelter for a little while, but unfortunately did not get a whole lot of interest, so it was decided that maybe we should be transferred here to hopefully find a forever home! But we again have found misfortune and neither of us have lucked out on finding a home to call our own yet. We are really trying to not let that get us down, but it is tough. We really do not like shelter life. The dogs overwhelm us, and we find ourselves getting increasingly frustrated the longer we are here, which is really unfortunate because we really are such great dogs! I am smart, treat-motivated, love a good roll in the grass, and would do great in a home with older kids that don't mind a big, strong dog! I have my fair share if energy, but I also would not mind a good cuddle session here and there either! I get along well with my brother, but I have a hard time getting along with any of the dogs here. It definitely could be the environment though, so I may be able to share a home with another dog in the future if it is the right fit. Scooby and I are not a bonded pair, but if you're willing to have twice the fun, we would love to find a forever home in the same place! Think I could be the perfect match for you? I would love to break free from this place for good! Ask to meet me at the shelter! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 61 Age: 2yrs 5mths 1wks

Story
Hi friends! Daisy is my name, and playing ball is my game. I am in search of a home that has an endless supply of tennis balls because I absolutely ADORE them! I could play fetch for hours if you'd let me. I am a fun and active girl with a big personality, love my walks, and do great on a leash! I could sure keep you active! Maybe lots of hikes and adventures are in our future? I am super sweet and I love to give snuggles and kisses too - the best of both worlds! I can be a little timid with men at first, but give me a second to get comfortable, and I will warm right up! Kids don't seem to bother me, so I would be just fine in a home with kiddos running around! Maybe they could play ball with me! I could probably share a home with another dog that has a similar demeanor to me, but we would need to be properly introduced to make sure we are compatible first. I do not like kitties though, so a feline-free home is a must! I hear everyone here at the shelter say how shocked they are that I am still here, and honestly... so am I! Do I sound like your kind of girl? Ask to meet me here at the shelter! Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: Black Weight: 45.31 Age: 3yrs 3mths 2wks

Story
Hi friends! Trixie here! What's a gorgeous girl like me still doing here in the shelter? Good question! Answer - I have no clue! I surrendered to the shelter with my friend Taz because we didn't get along with the kitty that was in our home with us. I am such a sweet girl, would do well with kids that are used to big dogs around, and am pretty mellow considering I am a mix of two high-energy breeds! I can get a bit territorial with other female dogs, but there may be a male dog out there that I could share a home with in the future. Taz and I are not a bonded pair, but we love each other so, so much and are pretty well-behaved when we are together! We love running in the yard together and play-wrestling every chance we get! Ideally, we would love to find a home that is willing to have twice the fun and adopt us both! We know it would be asking a lot, but we would repay you with all the love and fun you can get! Could I be a good fit for you? Ask to meet me here at the shelter! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 68.94 Age: 3yrs 2mths 0wks

Story
Hey there! I'm Taz! I'm a young husky/shepherd mix that was surrendered to the shelter with my sister Trixie because we weren't getting along with the cat in the home. That being said, I've found myself homeless and in search of my new forever home! I have lived with kids in the past, and I am very friendly with them, but I am a big and jumpy boy sometimes, so I would do best in a home with kids that are used to dogs that may knock them over. I also lived in my home with other dogs besides my sister in my home, but they say I don't do well with other male dogs and can get territorial. I may be able to share a home with a female dog in the future though! My sister and I are not bonded, but we do love each other so, so much and would love to go to place that is willing to have twice the fun and take us both home! We are such great friends! I have a good amount of energy, love to go for walks and play in the yard with my sister, and also enjoy getting pets and attention from time to time as well! Staff and volunteers give me as much love as they can here, but I would really love to have a home of my own again where I can run and play to my heart's content! Could that be with you? I'd love to meet you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 70.31 Age: 1yrs 2mths 0wks
